ACH joining NXT?

Quote:
As PWInsider.com has noted over the last week, there are a number of talents who appear to be WWE bound when the next WWE NXT class is announced this January.

PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources that WWE has strong interest in former Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling star ACH and it appears, pending all the usual processes one has to go through while signing with the company, that he will be Orlando-bound to join the NXT brand this January.

On a national level, ACH has most recently been seen in Major League Wrestling, where he had been teaming with Rich Swann. ACH, 30 years old, broke into the business in the Texas independent scene, being trained by Jerry Reyes and Scott Summers. He had a six year run in Ring of Honor, departing in 2016 and has worked for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan as well as New Japan as himself and the masked Tiger the Dark. He's also worked in Mexico and for Impact Wrestling and is a hell of an aerial talent who's overall work and promos have greatly improved every year he's been around the business.

PWInsider.com can also confirm that Ring of Honor had been in discussions with ACH to return to the company in recent but those talks ended without a deal being consumated.

He can put on some good matches in NXT and be a good addition to 205 Live.

ACH too? Really?

I mean fuck I've heard rumors this week of ACH, Shane Strickland, Trevor Lee, and Silas Young going to NXT already. Not to mention The Elite guys who might come into the main roster next year.

They really are signing everyone they can.

But as Marky said, he'd be a great addition to 205 Live.

Re: ACH joining NXT?

Does WWE have big plans for 205 Live or something? A second hour? Tag titles? Having the brand treated as more than an afterthought Network time slot filler?

Re: ACH joining NXT?

I hope they get him, ACH's been really good for a while. Though he'd be an asset to 205 I'd personally rather see him on NXT.

I'd be happy for him to be there but sheesh they really are trying to snap up everyone. Are they worried about something??

Re: ACH joining NXT?

It's probably his dream to work at the WWE. But I think he's gotta look at Apollo Crews and ask himself if he's okay with that role. He's similar, except a bit smaller. Very white-meat, even with Taguchi as his partner (who brings out a ton of personality with his partners).

But he's a great athlete and he'd look tremendous in NXT.
