Whould these guy's carrer been better if they went to New Japan?

Hi guys

How much of an impact and a change in history would have been if these guys went to New Japan after they left their respected promotions:

- Bret Hart, after the Montreal Screwjob.

- Sting, after Vince Mcmahon bought WCW.

- British Bulldog, after the Montreal Screwjob.

- Goldberg, after Vince Mcmahon bought WCW.

- The Ultimate Warrior, after he left WWF and before he went to WCW.

- Chris Benoit, after he left WCW and before he went to WWF.

Hello I donít think in the attitude era or the golden age wrestlers would have gotten more pay than in WWE/F or WCW in NJPW.

It might of made wrestling sense to go to Japan and try and different style of wrestling but family and other considerations may have meant they did not go to Japan even it they thought about it.

I'm not even sure NJPW was as big at the time of some of these things happening. I always thought AJPW was the bigger one in the 90's, we used to tape trade and I never saw an NJPW one but we got tons of AJPW stuff coming through.

While I agree with you that until the late 90's, AJPW was the number one brand in Japan. but when the 2000's came along NJPW rose from the ashes with Hiroshi Tanahashi as their ace.

So, when making this topic, I thought that NJPW was a better choice since most of the ones on the list left at the very end of the 90's or early 2000's

Just imagine Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Bret Hart or Chris Benoit and tell me how good do you think it will be.

Enough of these hypothetical gimmicks, already. The botched word in every title tell is getting old.

Besides the fact that enough of those names listed actually worked New Japan at one point or another. (Goldberg even trying the original Wrestle-1 w/Muta & HUSTLE before "retiring" post-WWE run) They weren't gunning for expansion back then; different business ideas. So ballparking a "Tanahashi vs Benoit match" in early 2000 wouldn't amount to much of anything as he was just getting his career started. Case closed.
