Jamiroquai - Thoughts on them and their catalogue?

Ok, I've recently bought the whole back catalogue of Jamiroquai albums as well as the new album Automaton which I think is awesome and was wondering what you guys thought to Jamiroquai here?

Like is often the case with me, I get into a lot of things that have been around a while either due to them being before my time or just simply for the fact that I've caught on late in regards to them but Jamiroquai are so good.

They bring that funk element to their music all the time which to be fair anything with the funk is going to be timeless.

So I was wondering what you guys thought to Jamiroquai here and their back catalogue also? Any favourite album, tracks etc... or just anything Jamiroquai really I would love to hear?

I think they're incredibly unique and are one of the only bands at the moment to be bringing that old school flavour and combining it with something new.

So thoughts? I would love to hear some thoughts and vibes from you guys

Their studio albums are as follows:

Don't worry Heff, we can still have a nice Thanksgiving. I bought us a nice big vegetarian turkey. It'll be delicious!

Re: Jamiroquai - Thoughts on them and their catalogue?

They're one of my favourite bands of all time. I grew up listening to them but the funny thing is I've never actually bought any of their studio albums, I discovered their songs from radio and music charts shows on TV in the 90's. The only album I own of their's is High Times that I bought back in the mid 2000's, which is a compilation album of some of their best songs but High Times was the first ever album I ever bought though I was a fan of Jamiroquai and had heard some of the songs on the album long before I even bought the album. But it was still great to buy that album and listen to it anyway. Helped me get through some rough times during my high school years. Jamiroquai have one of the best sounds in music I've ever heard with the funk, soul, acid jazz. They're brilliant at it and I've never heard them produce a bad song. Every track they have made makes a great dance track, they're super funky and groovy. I listened to the Automaton album recently and they hadn't lost a step. It was a solid album. They stay true to classic Jamiroquai but give it a modern day twist and incorporate a future robotic sound into the album like they do in the Automaton track. Yeah, man, Jamiroquai are phenomenal and I've had a lot of high times listening to their tracks. I have so many favourite songs of theirs, most of which you'll see on the back listing for the High Times graphic I'll post below like Virtual Insanity, Cosmic Girl, Emergency On Planet Earth, Seven Days In Sunny June, Little L, Love Foolosphy. Canned Heat etc.

Awesome. Yeah their studio albums are so good. I'm just listening to Dynamite now which is really good. You really should get some of their studio albums, they're just so good to listen to.

The earlier albums are great to just chill out to and have on in the background. They also sound great turned up too and of course the new albums are great too and just as strong.

I love the track Hot Tequila Brown and quite a few tracks on Dynamite are really good too. Check some of these out.

This one is great too, which is on the High Times album also.

It's a really great album!!
