Bands greatest hits (with a twist) part II

Bands greatest hits (with a twist) part II

I did this thread a while ago and it was pretty fun, so since there are new people on the board I figured I would post this again.

The rules are different from greatest hits threads.

Make a greatest hits album of your favorite band or even do a mix album or all your favorite bands but the track listing on your play list has to be the same as it is on the original album of the band.

For example, if you were going to pick guns n roses as the band

The songs that would have to be in the first track would be Jungle, right next door to hell, Civil War or chinese democracy since those are the first tracks of their albums.

Can we do a greatest hits compilation w/o the twist? It just seems like it would make for more interesting possibilities.

No because the rules make its more interesting since the way without the twist has been done before, it makes it harder to make a list with the twist, that is the point lol

Re: Bands greatest hits (with a twist) part II

Alice In Chains.

1. We Die Young
2. Sea Of Sorrow
3. Bleed The Freak
4. Sunshine
5. Them Bones
6. Rain When I Die
7. Rooster
8. Down In A Hole
9. What The Hell Have I
10. Grind
11. Brush Away
12. Heaven Beside You
13. Head Creeps
14. Check My Brain
15. Your Decision
16. Lesson Learned
17. Acid Bubble
18. Hollow
19. Stone
20. Low Ceiling
21. Phantom Limb

I added them in the order they went in the albums, I picked four from each album. Avoided the EP's but included "What The Hell Have I" from the "Last action Hero" Soundtrack since it's one their best songs. This was hard since AIC have many awesome songs but I didn't want to go over 21.

I'll probably do another one soon but a compilation of bands.

FAVOURITE WRESTLERS

Bray Wyatt. Seth Rollins. Luke Harper. Pentagón Jr. Braun Strowman. Erick Rowan. Baron Corbin. Johnny Mundo. Tetsuya Naito. Kenny Omega. Shinsuke Nakamura. Dean Ambrose. AJ Styles. Xavier Woods. Rusev. Revival.

LEGENDS/ALL TIME FAVOURITES

The Undertaker. Kane. Sting. Raven. DDP. Jake Roberts. The Great Muta. HHH. nWo. Sid Vicious. Vampiro.

What I meant by that is structure and flow between songs, having more options for sequencing can make for better results as a listening experience. If you're going for a challenge then I completely get the restrictions, but making a good complilation w/o the restrictions isn't easy ether. Anyway, no biggie.

Ok, your rules. I'll pick Amon Tobin b/c i've been getting back into his stuff lately.

1 Journeyman (ISAM)
2 Esther's (Foley Room)
3 Slowly (Supermodified)
4 Nightlife (Permutation)
5 El Cargo (Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory OST)
6 Rosies (Out From Out There)
7 Defocus (Bricolage)
8 People Like Frank (Permutation)
9 Chocolate Lovely (Supermodified)
10 Always (Foley Room)
11 Mighty Micro People (Out From Out Where)
12 At the End of the Day (Foley Room)

1 Get Your Snack On (Supermodified)
2 Verbal (Out From Out There)
3 Keep Your Distance (Foley Room)
4 Creatures (Bricolage)
5 Lost & Found (ISAM)
6 Deo (Supermodified)
7 Foley Room (Foley Room)
8 Saboteur (Supermodified)
9 El Wraith (Out From Out There)
10 Wires and Snakes (Bricolage)
11 Straight Psyche (Foley oom)
12 Dropped from the Sky (ISAM)

I can't believe that I had to leave out "Easy Muffin" and "4 Ton mantis" from both playlists.

Re: Bands greatest hits (with a twist) part II

So we can use several artists? I would prefer to do that because in the last thread I already did a track by track one for the boss.

I tried to get in my favourite songs from my fave artists:

1.) Janie Jones (The Clash, The Clash)
2.) Girl from the North Country (Bob Dylan, Freewheelin)
3.) Lady Jane (Rolling Stones, Aftermath)
4.) The Partisan (Leonard Cohen, Songs from a room)
5.) Pretty Baby (Blondie, Parallel Lines)
6.) He's sure the boy I love (The Crystals, He's a rebel)
7.) A change is gonna come (Sam Cooke, Ain't that good news)
8.) Maybe (Shangri-Las, Leader of the Pack)
9.) One Tree Hill (U2, The Joshua Tree)
10.) For Emily, wherever I may find her (Simon and Garfunkel, Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme)
11.) The River (Bruce Springsteen, The River)
12.) Both Sides Now (Joni Mitchell, Both Sides Now)

Yes it can be all from one band or you can do a mix playlist but the same rules apply.
