It took nine years since it first aired but upcoming Sunday is the final episode of GOT.
I dont think its exaggerating when I say its gonna be one of if not THE television biggest event ever.
For many this is the greatest tv show ever made.
Personally I think Breaking Bad still has the throne but that's just me.
With GOT last episode airing at the same time as MITB I wouldnt be surprised if it one of the lowest vieved ppvs ever in WWE history.
With this latest season, Breaking Bad, Wire, Sopranos >>>>> GoT, and i've seen every episode of GoT twice/thrice over. Great show but unless the final episode is Ozymandia's level great, hell that's not even fair, even Battle of the Bastards great, BB has a much better claim than GoT but I understand; its last season was much better than GoT's current season.
Every time an iconic show ends there's GOAT talk and I literally said when BB ended the next show up is GoT when it ends. In 2025-2029 when a new show has taken the world by storm it'll be that show etc. haha
Re: Game of Thrones final episode or MITB? Which will you watch
Well, both. I'll watch MITB till GoT comes on. Then switch back to MITB. I don't mind wrestling spoilers, but it's also only 1 1/2 hours I have to avoid social media. This isn't a struggle in 2019. Unless you're illegally streaming one of the shows live...
@Strike Force. I agree to all the shows you mentioned. Have you watched The Shield? It came out in 2002 and many great shows came out after it but I still put The Shield as top 5 of the greatest shows.
The Shield was good, I suppose. Nothing great, and certainly nothing that would put it in the discussion of greatest shows ever, but it was fine. I liked what I saw. There are SO many shows that were better that it's got to be at least two tiers down. The Americans, Veep, The Simpsons, I Love Lucy, The Golden Girls, Fawlty Towers, All in the Family, Mad Men, and 30 Rock were all markedly better, just to name a few.
