Re: Menís Money in the Bank Ladder Match

If they give the briefcase to Andrade, the perception of everything changes. It would bring back a little unpredictability. I dont think MacMayhan has the cashews to do it though.

I can't figure Drew out.

He gets released the first time and starts showing up in indy companies. He's out of place. In a good way. The guy looks like a star and looks to be too big of a deal. I saw him and Roderick Strong in a cage match from the front row once, it was the type of match that belonged in front of 10,000 and not 500. I thought he was a star and was so impressed with him.

But when he shows back up in WWE he doesn't seem like a star anymore. It's hard to explain. I'm not a fan of him in big crowds and when he's in front of smaller crowds he seems like someone that needs to be in front of big crowds.

Re: Menís Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The problem with these sorts of matches is that WWE plans the match before they have the winner in mind. Who is really deserving of being a main eventer here? Orton is up there, but does anyone really want the briefcase on him again, with the knowledge that his title win is coming? I think people have had enough of that.

Andrade might be ready in a year, but it's a gamble.

MITB is a worn-out gimmick at this point. You need main eventers or people that are just waiting to explode into the main event scene to make it work. I guess you could do a "grabbing the dream" story with Mustafa Ali or Ricochet, where people try to get the briefcase off them, but they eventually cash in ahead of time and win the big one in a great moment, even if the reign isn't long. Eh. Braun winning at least allows him to potentially cash in on Kevin Owens or something, which could be a way to get Owens back into babyface position (but why the flip-flopping and the short reign for Owens?). And is Heel Braun vs. Babyface Owens really going to sell tickets? Balor could win and cash in on AJ Styles and enter the Raw main event scene, but that is also uninspiring.

The match is fucked.

Whoever wins should cash in successfully this time. The last two winners have failed.

I hate it when they put champions in MITB matches. Finn already has a belt, let him defend it and keep him away from the briefcase.

There's also the fact that they haven't given him a single meaningful storyline so far. Pairing him with Ziggler was terrible.

You can only do so much when you get put in random matches and generic feuds like the one with Reigns

I actually love the look of this match. I think it has the right amount of balance between strength and speed. You have big guys like Braun & Drew, and then you have the high-speed spot machines like Ricochet & Ali which will no doubt pull off some crazy moments. Also some really solid guys like Balor, Orton and Andrade....and I guess, Corbin.

I think this could really fantastic provided it's booked correctly.

Re: Menís Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The only guys I would replace are Braun and Corbin.

Braun because the entire match revolves around him if he's in there. Which can be fun with everyone trying to take him out. But we just saw that story last year. And Corbin, while can be an entertaining foil at times, he's not needed ere. Put Cesaro in his place.

Re: Menís Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Andrade and Drew feel to be like they just need that one big moment and storyline to really take off as stars. But thus far WWE has denied them that. Also with Drew and Braun I kind of feel like they have an aura that they don't need to case, they can just win the title straight up at some point.

So of the two, Andrade would be cool, plus we'd get some unpredictability again as someone else stated above. Also there's no one on SDL who feels so far above everyone else as a main eventer right now that you couldn't buy them losing potentially.

Re: Menís Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The whole match is wide open for me, I really can't see a definite winner for this match. Always good to have unpredictability in these types of matches.
