The Year is 50 BCE. The setting is a coastal village in Armorica. Julius Caesar's Roman Conquest has nearly captured all of Gaul but for this small indomitable tribe who continue to fight against the formidable Roman legions. What is their secret?
Look at this! Don't you want to camp out here and eat wild boar with these WONDERFUL PEOPLE? What's that you say? You do? But are you BRAVE enough? YOU ARE? Then prepare to go on a HISTORIC JOURNEY (that will most likely result in your death) with never an expected turning.

Gaulish Village Aligned
Thanks to the ringing crow of «Cock-doodle-doo!!!» to be found in many of the Asterix album pages, the Village rooster is the series’ major animal star – except for Dogmatix (and the boars, of course!). As a matter of fact, the rooster receives a well-earned special tribute when Albert Uderzo dedicates a story to him in Asterix and the Class Act. .
Chanticleerix – the name of this proud rooster - successfully confronts the imposing imperial eagle, full of its alleged Roman superiority. Even though the deck first seems to be stacked against it, the Gaulish rooster manages to win the fight, thanks to the help of Dogmatix... and a bit of magic potion. Let it be known: the Village animals are also indomitable fighters!
In this game, you shall be the DEAD BIRD. You die on Night Zero. It's pretty extreme, I know. You win along with the rest of the village when all the Invaders have been eliminated and peace can once again reign over.
What was a dead chicken if not a warning from the heavens that danger was upon them?
But wait, the Romans were coming. WHAT FOR? A voice from the sky spoke to the indomitable Gauls of an ending of time and all things that grow. A Roman legionary brought to them a message of truce while another brought a message of war. Who to believe? Neither? Both?
There are invaders amid you.
The sun rises and the order is given. The villagers must together decide who is friend and who is foe. Every player has a vote (unless otherwise specified) to cast on who they believe is a foe. If majority is reached, that player will be lynched (unless otherwise specified).
Additionally, all players who have a '+' symbol next to their alignment may visit another player during the day phase by PMing me, to interact socially or try to identify their alignment. Chances are you will not find anything, but what if you do? This visit does not interfere with any normal role the player may have (unless otherwise specified).
Day One begins with the Villagers trying to find the Invaders.
