The tweet got me thinking/wondering - What's Impact's match of the last decade? They have a long list of ****1/2+ matches but nothing instantly pops up in my memory and makes me go "Yeah, totally this one".
As much as i was a huge TNA mark since 2002 the fact is it was ran in a way that they tried everything possible but most of everything was hot shotted instead of in depth slow story telling build. This is why the company has SO MANY GREAT matches but they all sorta blend together if that makes sense. I feel the same way.
Like i know they had soooo many epic matches but they all blend.
I think most people will say AJ vs Daniels vs Joe which was epic indeed

I would say Roode is the stand out guy with anyone he faced during his run.I think he was one of the best champions during that time. Amazing character that worked so well.No idea how he is now but i assume hes just molded to act exactly like everyone else in wwe which is the most insane thing to imagine .Roode/Aries
Honestly haven't watched much TNA since like 2005 but I loved Bully Ray's big heel run. So probably something from that. Extremely limited viewing hot take....
1. Bully Ray vs. AJ Styles- some PPV
2. Bully Ray vs. Austin Aries- some other PPV
3. Broken Matt Hardy vs. Brother Nero- The Final Deletion
I was going to suggest a few matches but then I realised a decade ago was 2009(!) and that was the year I stopped watching. Prior to 09 I loved TNA. A shame Dixie, Russo, Hogan and Bischoff had to kill it.
Match pretty much revived TNA from the dead after they lost all their money. Granted company died again and got rebranded by Anthem, but before Don Callis era there was BROKEN Universe that influenced all wrestling. Damn WWE fucking copied it and paid millions to bring Hardys back.
There's a lot of good matches mentioned. I'll mention a couple that haven't been said yet...
- Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong - Entire feud was mesmerizing and revolutionary in women's wrestling.
- Ric Flair vs. Mick Foley - Before The Glory 2010 - Absolutely phenomenal match, one of the best hardcore matches in wrestling history.
Aries went on a tear in 2012, the Roode match at DX is awesome but the best match he had that year was probably vs Bully Ray at Sacrifice. He didnt have many bad ones though.
If Storm and Roode had their BFG match either for the title or at Lockdown the same year that might have been in with a shout.
Oh and basically any match Joe Park had. He definitely got Devons best singles match out of him which is impressive in its own right.
Super glad someone mentioned the awesome TV match Styles and Roode had in 2012 too, that owns and deserves more love.
I'll throw an underrated one out - Samoa Joe versus Magnus around 2014 I think. It was a really good Strong Style type match. I really liked that match.
Another underrated one was Bad Influence vs. Styles and Angle.
