Re: AXS ratings

Will they show replays? They usually got a third more viewers with a replay right after the original airing.
So maybe the get like 300k + 100k.

200k (8pm airing) + 60k (replay) + twitch views + IMPACTplus views would be a decent start after being on Pursuit for so long.
But I am not sure if they even show a replay.

Re: AXS ratings

AXS isn't metered by Nielsen but the last time NJPW's ratings were announced (I believe in a press release the last time the show was renewed) they were around 225,000 viewers per episode on average.

MLW Fusion gets under 10,000 on BeIn Sports plus their Fite and Youtube numbers.

ROH gets a lot of viewers (350,000 households not counting online viewers per episode was the last number Meltzer reported a few years back) but because of their timeslot and channels in a lot of markets, many of the viewers are very old like WWE's.

Back when Lucha Underground was on they were usually lucky to break 100,000.

So given all this and AEW's current numbers I'd say 150,000 per week on the low end, 400,000 per week best case scenario.

Re: AXS ratings

300k ish but with whats to come with this company i think they will finally gain some slow growth traction and grow a bit through out the next year.

Re: AXS ratings

I think they will start out between 100-200k but slowly build. Their product is just soooo good right now, people will love it once they see it again.

Re: AXS ratings

This channel is available in less homes than Pop. Just before coming off Pop they were doing around 150k viewers. This is very poor, do not expect numbers higher than this on AXS. I'm not too sure why everyone is so optimistic about this channel change. There just isn't any interest in this promotion any more. I was always a huge supporter since the early days but seeing how the product comes off on tv makes me feel sorry for them. They looked so much better in the Impact Zone in Orlando. With AEW now in full swing Impact have unfortunately now missed the boat. ROH is also complete dog shit of a promotion. My support is with AEW now. I have a sub on Fite and pay for the PPVs. I'm certain that I am not the only one to have defected. Heck BFG is Impacts biggest event of the year and nobody is even talking about it. The only match I was interested in was the Ken Shamrock one. He is the biggest star they have and that says a lot about the company. Cage can be seen as a star but not if he stays with Impact.

They were doing 150k on 10pm
Impact peaked at almost 400k on POP.

They averaged around 300k in the 8pm time slot. 400k was around the time the whole broken Matt Hardy thing was taking off. Trust me they will never get these numbers again unless they improve production to give the show a big time feel ala AEW. Bigger arenas, good lighting etc. Even NXT are barely maintaining 700k viewers on a huge channel, I doubt Impact will come close to these numbers with an indy looking show.
