Between him and Aries and Drake they're getting rid of a lot of the top stars that got me back into watching it. Still not bad but they need to stop losing guys left and right.

That's exactly what it is. IMPACT is turning some kind of a profit, considering how much they've cut back in production over the past couple years...

For real Impact has not used him well lately that's damn sure. He came in and the guy was taking out talent backstage before his debut, and the momentum he had going with Aries and Moose was on point. When he broke out he was doing well, now he's playing Hide Kenny from Edwards with that feud going on. Granted I'm the guy to stick to the Contract you signed, but I'm glad he said something because right now they might be losing a megastar I feel in Kross if he leaves. The Man can legit scare you to death with his facial expressions or show intelligent he is with his words. He just needs to put together the Ring work more and he could legit be a top star in any Company if given the chance.

Well they are not getting rid of Killer Kross. And they haven't lost him yet so this is premature at this point.

Report: IMPACT Offered Killer Kross Less Than NXT Entry Level Deal; Talent "Literally Losing Money"

Quote:
More details regarding Killer Kross' release request from IMPACT Wrestling.

On May 14 it was reported by PWInsider that Killer Kross had requested his release from IMPACT Wrestling due to low pay and the two sides being unable to agree on a restructured deal. Kross reportedly wanted a new six-figure deal but IMPACT countered with a three-year deal that was below six-figures. Kross signed a multi-year deal with the promotion last year.

Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone reports that Kross was offered less than an NXT entry-level deal, which is reportedly $45,000 per year.

Pritchard goes on to report that many signed to IMPACT on multi-year deals, including Kross, are "literally losing money" due to travel costs and expenses. Talent is reportedly making $250-400 per appearance, with no guaranteed minimum amount of appearances.

"Several talents saying they were making as little as $3000-5000 for the year," reports Pritchard. This only includes their deal with IMPACT Wrestling and does not include any money talent makes through other Independent appearances.

IMPACT is not expected to release Kross from his current deal.

I've been saying for almost 20 years, pro wrestling needs an UNION(at least in the United States for starters). This is why I don't get mad at guys like Goldberg or the Young Bucks for demanding higher figures. They know their worth.

Union for what?

He signed a contract and now he wants out of it. What's even the point of the contract if you're not going to commit?

Wrestlers simply got spoiled since no matter how many bridges you burn, there will still be enough places to work. WWE, NXT, Impact, AEW, MLW, NJPW, RoH, CMLL, AAA. And these are only the bigger ones.

WWE and Khan may have an infinite amount of money to sign everyone, but other companies dont and they need to make profit to function.

"wrestlers worth" argument cant be taken sirous because of AEW and WWE. Those 2 companies can give 7 figures to anyone just so Impact and NJPW couldn't sign them. And this is kind of a monopoly.

Wwe and aew low ball wrestlers as well. I think the most Cena made with wwe in one year was $10 million and that's including extra back in revenue. Cena in his prime should have been making at least $25 million per year before the bonuses.

Ambrose only made $2 million in the year where he headlined more shows than anyone on the roster. And you wonder why he left.

The word making the rounds tonight at the Impact Championship Wrestling event in Queens, NY is that Scarlett Bordeaux officially requested a release from her Impact Wrestling contract late last week.

In checking with multiple sources this evening, PWInsider.com has confirmed that Bordeaux indeed asked for her release from her deal, which is said to pay her per appearance and is not a guaranteed deal.

Bordeaux officially came on board with Impact last year and has been given a strong push as the sexy temptress "Smokeshow." Originally trained by Jimmy Jacobs and Truth Martini, Bordeaux broke into the business in the Chicago area and has worked previously for Ring of Honor and AAA, among other promotions. Of late, she has been aligned with Fallah Bah and recently completed a program with Disco Inferno.

Bordeaux, 28, is believed to be under contract to Impact until later this summer. There is no word yet whether the release will be granted. She recently worked the TV tapings in Philadelphia and would next be scheduled to appear for the company at the NYC TV tapings in early June.

As PWInsider.com reported last week, Killer Kross recently requested his release as well, but has been told the release will not be granted. The promotion, however, recently granted the contractual release of Gursinder Singh.

Wow, Kross and now Scarlett. I won’t speak to the money going around. But it sucks for Imoact who have invested a lot in these characters, espesocally Scarlett and honestly made them look like stars.
