I'm no expert, but I think you should probably ask HERE.

Re: The rise and fall of wcw

Its an alright watch, I wouldn't say it was a completely accurate account of things though, I'd far rather have a lot more top level WCW guys on board with it, I honestly think if you're hoping to get a great documentary out of it then you'd need to hope that an independent filmed it, got everyone they could involved and told a proper story and not the WWE coated version.

Its alright for what it was, but it didn't really discuss anything we've not heard before, pretty PC version

It was okay, but it wasn't anywhere near as good as it could/should have been.

Re: The rise and fall of wcw

I rented it recently. I have only watched disc 1 so far. Discs 2 and 3 are classic matches. My recommendation is yes, its worth a view. Wcw is remembered by many as a failed promotion that was terrible in the end...but this dvd could change someone's perspective on that.

It's entertaining as long as you realize and accept how one-sided it is and don't take the whole thing as gospel truth.

It wasn't bad, the ECW one is much better though.

Get the book that was written in 2004 instead. I read it a few weeks ago, really damn good book.

Re: The rise and fall of wcw

The rise of WCW was when Bischoff ran it, the fall is when time Warner came in and pushed Eric out and got Russo in.

Re: The rise and fall of wcw

Actually the fall of WCW came long before Russo even arrived in the company and any claims against that is simply revisionist history.
