Could any one star make TNA more popular than WWE?

Do you think any star, past or present could make a big enough impact on TNA to make it more popular than WWE in terms of ratings? What I mean by this is more consistantly popular not just a one off because they've advertised the debut of a big star.

My first thought and what I assume will be the majority of peoples responses is John Cena because whether you like him or not he is the biggest current superstar by miles and if he joined TNA there would definitely be a massive rise in their ratings.

My only other thought was The Rock as a bit part wrestler but regular promoter as this could be done even while he was shooting movies, however I could be deluded in this suggestion as, as the name suggests I am a massive Rock fan and would watch TNA religiously if he appeared on there.

if Vince McMahon bought out TNA, and then placed a bomb at Wrestlemania that killed everyone that was a part of the WWE, then replaced raw and smackdown with impact and that other stupid TNA show..........

maybe.

You've got no chance dud dum duh da no chance in hell...

TNA doesn't come anywhere near to matching WWE's production values or product in general. Even if they did have a star like Cena come over, I doubt that they would book an angle for maximum impact and interest, more likely that they'd try to get Hogan or Flair in on the angle somehow.

WWE is too much of a juggernaut to make an impact. WWE could jettison all of its top stars to TNA and they'd still get a higher rating than TNA solely because of a superior network and customer inertia. If you watch wrestling you most likely watch WWE.
