Re: Out of all the young stars of today who has the brightest future?

I say replace Kofi "Midcarder 4 Lyfe" Kingston and his kiddy Boom bullshit off the list and replace him with Dashing.

Also add Drew, because I do think he'll become a monster heel eventually. I'll also say Tarver has a bright future, because his mic skills and overall gimmick/look/presence somehow work well now, even though in NXT he just seemed like an out of place ass-nugget.

And Riley has potential, but I'll keep him off the list since he's not even #1 on NXT yet...

Out of them, in the long run, 1A and 1B will be Seamus and Wade... ironically two non-Americans with heavy accents--something rare for main event status in the WWE.

I'll go with this list:

Wade
Seamus
Miz
Drew
Swag
Cody

with other potential acts to come in like Riley, Kaval, Tarver, and maybe Ziggler

I think the WWE actually has a pretty bright future now that I look at this--much better than what I saw a few years back when the Rocks, Austins, Shano's, Vince's, Angle's, Eddie's, Benoit's, Brocks', and Foley's were getting old or just leaving with not much that compared left behind.

My Sig.

Re: Out of all the young stars of today who has the brightest future?

Randy Orton, he's only 30. He's still got a good 10-15 years in him, that is crazy, he's still in the early stages of his career technically speaking. CM Punk has got a long way to go in his career as well.

Sheamus
The Miz
Jack Swagger
Cody
Ted
Alex Riley
Wade Barrett
JoMo
Drew Mac
Michael Tarver

Could all have potentially great careers IMO, they all need to work on certain areas though.

Also hold out some hope for Kofi, but I think he'll make Upper Midcard at most. Also, Bryan Danielson anyone?

RIP Randy Savage & The Ultimate Warrior.

Thanks for the memories.

This is why the IWC doesn't get much respect

Most of that order really, really puzzles me, I've got to be honest with you.

On topic.

I feel Swagger really has the all around appeal as a wrestler. The guy as we all know excels at wrestling. He was able to overcome his speech issue as well which I feel was a huge pat on the back for him. He is intense and can now get the crowd more into his character.

As for the rest of the wrestlers mentioned in this thread I agree fully. These guys unless they really mess up are going to be the core base of the WWE Main event scene. And overall I am pretty happy with the possibilities.

As a dark horse I want to throw in Justin Gabriel. Not sure what he is all capable of but so far what little he has done has drawn me to him. And no its not just cause he does the 450 splash. I just like his look and see him as a smart well executing technical wrestler.

Christian is great, but people really need to realize that he's got pretty much no chance in hell of ever breaking out in the WWE. Plus, he's fucking 36 years old, I don't think he's really a "bright young star" anymore. In fact, Matt probably does have a better chance of rising up the card and winning a world title.

Helllllllll no. You've got to be crazy to think that Miz and Kofi won't ever breakout into the Main Event scene...if anybody on that list won't it would actually most likely be Drew..if just for the simple fact that unlike Miz and Kofi, he's had a difficult time trying to get over.

Re: Out of all the young stars of today who has the brightest future?

Kennedy only didn't succeed 'cause he was injury prone and caused injury to others. It was unfortunate but he wasn't irreplaceable, The Miz is doing fine in that role now.

Wade Barrett and Alex Riley are the top two. They have so much charisma and command on the mic. They are awesome, Riley is quickly becoming one of my favourites, his promo on NXT was badass.

Hustle, Loyalty & Respect.

YES! YES! YES!

Re: Out of all the young stars of today who has the brightest future?

I hope Kofi stays faaaaar away from the main event. IMO the order of who will be biggest is:

1. Sheamus
2. Swagger
3. Bourne
4. Barrett
5. Miz (if he sticks around)

The best face that WWE created in years got run off over some moron named Justin Roberts that no one gives a shit about, shame.
