Re: Your least favorite wrestling moves

While I like Starship Pain in theory, I HATE how Morrison can never hit the freakin' move. And it gets farther and farther off every week. Also, if you notice, in the replay they always try to use the camera angle where you can't tell he landed 5 feet behind his opponent.

I kind of enjoy the silly momentum-losing moves like the 5 knuckle shuffle, and MVP's Ballin' thing...but that's just me.

Yokos banzai splash for the simple fact that he would practically kill jobbers with it.

Cringe worthy, really.

This is the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the thread title...just completely horrible. Common sense would tell you to not to damn swing after seeing EVERY single person miss. And the 5KS itself along with the Ballin elbow is just

Re: Your least favorite wrestling moves

Shawn Michaels throwing himself over the turnbuckle is perhaps the only bad thing I can say about his in-ring style.

I also hate the spot where a guy goes to the top rope and clearly stops before having his move countered in mid-air - that looks really fake.

Re: Your least favorite wrestling moves

The absolute worst spot in wrestling is the distraction angle.

I'm talking about when some interloper jumps on the apron, walks out onto the stage, etc., and somehow one of the guys in the match is so overwhelmed by this distraction that somethings happens which causes them to lose the match.

It's amplified by the fact that WWE does this every fucking week now. Sometimes multiple times per week. It's thoughtless and makes the guy who falls for the spot look like a total schmuck.

Re: Your least favorite wrestling moves

Fist two will be more than just wrestling moves... they were finishers.

Head vice/crush. Mainly the finishing move done by Crush.

Running forearm smash done by Lex.

---Regular moves---

Any 'extreme' move done by Matt Hardy from the second turnbuckle.

Bronco Buster or any version of the Stink Face. So basically any move were the guy is sitting against the corner and has another man rub areas of his body just below his waist against the other guys face.

Running clotheslines/shoulder blocks done immediately after a tag in. One is fine to set up some moves, but there is no reason to watch a freshly tagged in wrestler hit 8 or more clotheslines/shoulder blocks in a row and watch his opponent just stand up time and time again to get hit by them over and over.
