thoughts?

WWE confirms to Pro Wrestling Sheet that Myles is no longer under contract at this time, though no other details have been made available.

The 31-year-old first signed with in February of this year. He then took part in the NXT Breakout Tournament, which he won. Myles went on to face NXT champ Adam Cole in a title match.

Re: Jordan Myles release

Ryan Satin works on WWE Backstage now, so he's about as reliable as a dirtsheet source could possibly be.

Right move by WWE. Myles/ACH's outbursts were so severe that the company would look like the biggest assholes on the planet by making him stay. Very different case to a lot of the other guys asking for releases.

Watch Luke Harper go on a profanity laden tirade calling Vince racist against Southerners or something now. :lol

Re: Jordan Myles release

I don't agree with the "good for him" comments.

I don't think I've ever seen such a blatant playing of the race card for someone to get their own way. He blew up this situation to idiotic proportions, got a bunch of do-gooders on his side, using the best tool for pulling in idiots to your cause in 2019 - a Twitter hashtag.

I think in this case, while it would have been satisfying to force him to sit out his contract, it's ultimately more satisfying to not have to pay him any more money. You really don't want this kind of moron on your books, especially when he's all over social media using foul language and accusing all and sundry of being racist.

I honestly hope he never gets another wrestling booking. There are too many talented, good people out there fighting for a spot on every indy card, to allow this loser to take up someone else's opportunity.

[edit] Also, I bet Cedric is not thanking him for the mention in this latest tweet. You know for a fact that WWE isn't going to be happy about that.

What the fuck is Cedric doing?
Holding out I guess. I wouldn't be surprised to see him be one of those going when his contract is up.

People been complaining that Cedric is boring, but the man hasn't even been given the chance to shine as character, and with how scripted and restrictive WWE is, he may never. WWE probably just saw him as another smiling black man.

"Go at there and smile kid, we'll stick it on a black tee shirt for ya... I'm a genius" :vince

Cedric lost his push and rightfully so. There was an an interview during his push (it's online) when the reporter asked him what he thinks about that and Cedric said " It’s scary. It’s one of those things that I thought never would happen, but now that it is it’s almost unbelievable.".
He is just 30 and he has already given up and thought already a push would never happen? Everybody with that attitude deserves to lose his push.

Re: Jordan Myles release

Honestly I've pretty much lost respect for the guy.

I'm not saying WWE is innocent in this, and honestly I think this just comes down to ignorance on their part and just not noticing what was wrong. And I don't blame Myles for his initial outrage.

But then he calls Jay Lethal an Uncle Tom. He posts a guys' email address on Twitter. He posts a half ass apology where instead of talking about the original issues he complained about his spot in wrestling about how he's never been a top guy.

News flash, you are not a top guy. You are another guy who can do some cool flippy shit and that's about it. And I'm not saying that as someone who has just seen his NXT stuff. I've seen him in ROH, NJPW, AAW, etc. He is a flippy guy with some strength who smile. That's it. That's what he's always been.

And honestly that's what pissed me off the most about this whole thing. That he tried to use this controversy as a way to say "poor me" but then has to say "ForTheCutlure" like he's doing something profound. No you're not, you made it obvious what you were doing after that. Trying to use this to make up for the lack of talent that matters you have.

That's the stuff that make me say "Fuck Off."

And hey, good for him, he got out of his contract. Thing is though I'll be interested to see what promotion actually wants to take him on after this shit. I pretty much guarantee it ain't gonna be AEW though.

Re: Jordan Myles release

Probably all could have been avoided if WWE just released him when he obviously wanted out. I highly suspect he did this only after they refused. WWE probably refused because they gave him the rocket push with little PC time and felt they built him up too much to release him to a competitor, they might learn in the future to make sure people are a fit culturally for the company before pushing them on television.

I still contend they are much better off releasing all malcontents - at least ones they're not using and have no plans for. It would lead to a better lockerroom atmosphere.

Re: Jordan Myles release

Pretty sure he knows what he's doing so I wish him the best in his future endeavors. Makes me wonder why he left NJPW when he was like wrestling there for some time, I've always thought he fit right just fine over there because he didn't need to be a promo guy.

Re: Jordan Myles release

Not sure where he's going after WWE, ROH he burned that bridge, AEW the Young Bucks not only had issues backstage with him, they're also good friends with Jay Lethal, Impact he had a chance with but must not have been enough interest anyway based on how he was used. Maybe NJPW? Depends on how they're feeling about ROH at this point assuming he hasn't rubbed anyone the wrong way there.

Re: Jordan Myles release

I think it's just a work, and he will come back with Vince if AEW rating go high, to make a ''controversial'' or ''super interesting'' racial angle...:evil
