This is pretty much old news and random rant to many but I needed to get this off my chest.
I have not been watching SD for weeks except for the NXT invasion angle because I assume it would be better without the "top guys" , AND IT WAS
I feel like I'm watching the same episode over and over , Nakamura pretty much does basically nothing with the IC belt when there are like hundreds of talents who could help elevating it with loads of angles , instead we have multi men tag team matches literally every fucking week.
We havent seen Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas ( not counting that 24/7 stuff)on Live Tv in like months ? Years ? When they finally get featured , its during that Braun/Fury segment to implicitely cement / portray the WWE talents as geeks
RAW has AJ Styles as US champion and instead of having him in programs to elevate the titles they have him do those same multi men tag matches, come on I used to love those back in the late 2000's because it was not that redundant , now it feels like the cards are hogged by the same 10 to 15 wrestlers when there is like 200 employees out there
Even minor shows like Main Event only has like 2 matches with literally always the same faces ( Hawkins and Ryder vs Eric Young and Random Partner)
I get that they are trying to get mainsteam audience by involving boxers and mma fighters but it doesnt mean that the midcard should be nonexistent
Even if you dont push everyone , give your talents some air time , you have talents like Akira Tozawa , Peyton Royce , Liv Morgan , Sarah Logan , Apollo , Harper , EC3 , Mansoor , Cesaro, Ember Moon , Drew Gulak, Brian Kendrick , Shelton Benjamin , Miz , Zack Ryder, Heath Slater , Matt Hardy etc who are all skilled entertainers and /or performers without exception and fans are not even sure whether they still work here or not ffs
