For what we can practically see everything we want of every divas body anyway. Only thing it would do is serve as a way of turning divas into sex symbols
Women's wrestling has come a long way, let's not go backwards.

The "go watch porn" argument is dusted off frequently because it's incredibly intellectually lazy and simplistic.
By that rationale, sex appeal has absolutely no place in any entertainment medium that isn't porn.
Cheerleaders in sports? Fuck it, because porn.
A stupid show like Baywatch
, one of the most popular shows of all time? Fuck it, because porn.
Sex (or sexually suggestive) scenes in movies or TV shows? Fuck it, because porn.
Hooters girls? Fuck it, because porn.
and similar magazines, both paper and online? Fuck it, because porn.
Now, I'm not necessarily arguing that all or any of these things are inherently good, and I'm not necessarily saying WWE should go in that direction, but to say that they shouldn't exist because of the proliferation of online porn simply doesn't make sense and doesn't align with consumer preferences
. Sex sells, and if WWE announced a bra & panties match between any two of their top 10 most attractive performers, I guarantee it would be a ratings bonanza, albeit likely a fleeting one.
Ultimately, it's about WWE's target demographics and how desperate they are to pop ratings and attention. No matter whether you love or hate modern women's wrestling in WWE, the numbers prove that it has a relatively low ceiling vis a vis
appeal to casual viewers. That said, it's also worth considering whether the short-term benefits of having the hot women strut around in thongs would work long-term. Like, the kind of fan who would tune in for tits & ass...is that person sticking around the following week when there isn't another match like that? It's possible, but it feels unlikely.
So, in short, I'm not sure those kinds of matches would be productive, and they clearly don't align with either WWE's corporate identity or the limp-wristed, social-justice-driven society we get to enjoy in 2019.
But would I enjoy 'em? Fuck yeah, and my lady would watch 'em with me.
