Was Triple H a draw?

I want this thread to discuss the age old question, was Triple H a draw on the level of Steve Austin,The Rock and John Cena?. This includes his full-time wrestling career from 1992 to 2010 (after 2010 he has since become a part timer). You can use ratings,PPV buys and more to back your point.

Re: Was Triple H a draw?

He's a draw but not enough as a fotc draw like Hogan, Austin/Rock and Cena.

Re: Was Triple H a draw?

On the level of Austin, Rock and Cena? Fuck no. He was the guy working with the actual draw. He should be viewed as an upper mid-carder, but nepotism happened. Guys like Rob Van Dam, Jericho and Booker T could've been bigger draws than him if they had a fair shot at it.

I'd be invisible. I love to be invisible. Sneak up on some bitches, you know? They won't even know what's happening. - Big Poppa Pump

Re: Was Triple H a draw?

He was in 2000. He and Rock carried the company for much of that year. Yes, The Rock was the bigger star, but that doesn't mean that HHH was merely a passenger. He was also red hot in early 2002, at least up until the Jericho feud.

Yes. He was a pretty big draw. He wasn't as big as any of the main guys, though.

Not really.

His period on top drove away millions of viewers.

Re: Was Triple H a draw?

seeing how you mentioned Cena I think a much better question would be how big of a draw Cena was. because I think that mf was completely overrated and in no way should ever be mentioned along with Rock, Austin and Hogan.

Re: Was Triple H a draw?

HHH doesn't get enough credit for what he has done for this company. I've said it before many times already, reason Stone Cold, Rock, and others were great was because they had great heels (like HHH or Vince) to go against. He may have not been biggest star, or biggest draw but this guy is without a doubt one of best/if not the best heel ever. Would Stone Cold be Stone Cold if he had to fight Corbin every week? Would Rock be Rock if he had to fight Drew McIntyre and Elias every week?

Yes he was a draw. Whenever he faced Austin or Rock it was a big deal. It wasn't just about wanting them to win it was wanting him to lose because he was such a dastardly heel.

Re: Was Triple H a draw?

No.

He’s the guy that works with the draw.

Jim Cornett wasn’t wrong.

And that’s not a knock either. You need one as much as you need the other.
