Biggest draws of the last 20 years

So, I constantly see people on here talk about who isn't drawing, which makes me wonder, who the hell does draw? I'm not someone who's ever been interested in draws and numbers when it comes to viewership etc, but I am curious as to who's been drawing now, especially in the last few years.

Past 20 years? You had to include times when Austin and The Rock are still around huh? And WCW was around and had Goldberg and Hogan? I think you need to shorten that time window.

Edit: Damn, I got beaten to this one, but now I can respond to that.

Really subjective with those 4; but I had Rock out simply because when he was top top; ratings started to dip (Around 03), and him solo didn't have the drawing power Hogan and Goldberg did, plus you have to factor in Hogan had a pretty strong comeback as well which magnified his drawing power....Goldberg is kind of subjective Ill admit; but ratings through his first run were strong.

The numbers are sketchy but they are there; ratings were in the 4's and upper 3s early 99 before they started to dip. and rocks star power alone couldnt hold up WWEs...Austins could a bit more but he had Mr. Mcmahon too.

Now that I am thinking about it; I would put the Mr. Mcmahon character above Goldberg.

1) Austin
2) Hogan
3) Mr Mcmahon
4) Rock/Goldberg

McMahon character only drew heat because he feuded with the company's biggest star. No one paid to see him.

Last 20 years so you can't count NWO Hogan or Austin's two best years of 98/99 (technically you can count one month of Austin's 1999 if we're going by 20 years lol). Did Goldberg even draw at all in 2000-2004?

The probable answer is something like;

The Rock (end of 99-03, 12-14), Austin (00-03), HHH (99-present?) and Cena (05-17?).

The Rock was the undisputed highest peak, both when he was full time and then when he returned, because the thread basically only includes a small portion of Hogan + cuts out Austin's best drawing peak.

Re: Biggest draws of the last 20 years

20 years? Rock for the incredible business he did in 1999/2000. And for his occasional returns this decade, which have always spiked the ratings/buyrates. HHH was also a strong draw in 2000.

15 years? Cena from 2005-2010 has been the biggest draw. Orton, Edge, Batista, HHH, Goldberg and others were also been part or programmes that drew strong ratings/buyrates. Hogan drew an incredible buyrate with Michaels in 2005.

No one has really broken through as a draw this decade. In fact, even though Cena has been years past his peak, he's still been WWE's best draw. Lesnar drew some impressive buyrates with HHH and Cena in 2012. Other than that, everyone else has failed. Bryan and Punk failed to outdraw an ageing Cena. Reigns never really caught on as the company's main attraction. Rollins is the lowest drawing RAW champion this decade.
