Roman Reigns and other superstars advice fans on how to handle WWE story lines they dislike

Roman Reigns:
“I think you should express your opinions, but it doesn’t hurt anybody if you have a shred of respect,” Reigns said. “Have a little respect for the performers who were out there killing themselves for you. I didn’t like the Hell in a Cell finish either, but I wasn’t about to cuss some guys out who got hit in the head over and over. Bray Wyatt put his health on the line to entertain some fans to the best of his ability. I didn’t like it, but I respect Bray’s effort and willingness to go out there and do what you have to do. So, if you can, just a little bit of respect.”

Becky Lynch:
“It’s hard being a wrestling fan sometimes,” Lynch said. “We’re all just going out there doing our best to entertain you guys. We care about you guys. We want you to enjoy yourselves and it hurts when you don’t like it. We feel your pain. We’re all in this together. I’ll do all I can. Just tune into my Twitter. I’ll be entertaining there.”

Luke Gallows:
“There are 52 weeks of episodic television,” Gallows said. “There was controversy over the pay-per-view (HIAC) the other night. Guys, the story continues on Monday. It continues on Wednesday, Friday, and then on and on. My advice would be to enjoy it. In a movie, there has to be an antagonist. There has to be a negative to turn into a positive. So, in my opinion, if you like what we do, it’ll turn out the way you want it to. We’re in a culture of complainers.”

Drew McIntyre:
“I don’t remember being this negative as a kid,” McIntyre said. “I mean, I liked things and I didn’t like things, but I got over it. It’s a negative culture. It’s like every aspect of life, people are very negative. You see them complain on social media. When I was younger, I became complacent and deserved to get fired. Because I forgot I was living a dream. You have to realize, you can’t always be in the lead. If you work hard, you’ll get your opportunity. Look at Chad Gable. He’s getting his opportunity. I don’t remember seeing him on social media every minute saying, “I’m not getting the opportunity I deserve, brother. He just worked hard until he got it.”

Karl Anderson:
“I like the television show Lost,” said Anderson. “I’d watched it every now and again. I didn’t particularly love it, and it wasn’t because I thought the writing was bad, I was maybe a little mad about background. I think you just have to let the story play out. WWE has been in business for how long? The company has been master storytellers. Vince [McMahon] obviously knows what he’s doing. There’s got be a reason for certain things that happen. If you love wrestling, just let it play out.”

Lol I don't think people were mad at Bray dude. Check on your homeboy Seth, we know how well he handles criticism online

Re: Roman Reigns and other superstars advice fans on how to handle WWE story lines they dislike

I like Reign's comment on there the most and its one I respect more because if there is one thing I try my best never to do is criticise the wrestler, or at least disrespect the wrestler. As someone who has tried my hand at the sport, its so hard, even the basic stuff isnt easy. So wrestlers from Tamina to AJ Styles have my respect what they do...

WITH THAT SAID.... Our biggest gripe is with the booking, story department and character development (or lack there of) NOT the wrestlers... If anyone here is going onto wrestlers twitter or social media with threats or insults or shit, you are ruining it all for everyone who wants to change the product on a productive scale.

For me, I just don't watch Raw or Smackdown, I just cannot, I hardly watch the PPV and would rather spend my time watching NxT and AEW because they make me happy. I am still frustrated with the product but I never blame the wrestlers. I take action and just stop watching. OR watch AEW. There are productive ways to get the product to improve.

Roman is the only quote on there I agree with (even though he is missing the point). the rest sound like utter tools.

Damage control in full effect..
Wrestlers shouldnīt "advice" fans on how to react to things they donīt like, fans have right to their opinion. They should work on completely avoid stupid shit like HIAC from ever happening.

Roman your right. I dont like people are shitting on Seth and Bray neither. The blame lies solely on Vince.

-Becky I feel you but this company gives us consistent shitty storylines. Look no further then your road to this years WM. And even then the main event WM match was subpar.

-Luke shut your ass up. "Just enjoy it" Enjoy Seth and Braun taking away your tag titles you just got all for their ppv match majority of fans didn't care about. Didnt you ask for your release to or something?

Drew I really like but we have a right to complain and Drew should in my eyes be a bigger player and star in WWE than he is.

Karl- Master storytellers? Hahahaha!! Me and JDNYfrom206 laugh at this. Back in the days yeah but sure as hell aint now

Re: Roman Reigns and other superstars advice fans on how to handle WWE story lines they dislike

If I could summarize all those comments into one it would be something like....

"We get it. We work really hard to try and entertain you guys the best we can. But, we have to go out there and do what we are told to do, even if we know it is stupid."

I think I felt the saddest reading Becky's.. "We feel your pain. We’re all in this together. I’ll do all I can. Just tune into my Twitter. I’ll be entertaining there.” Translation - I'm not as scripted on twitter.

I do feel bad for the lot of them to be honest. Its hard to polish a turd into a gold nugget and that is what they are often asked to do..

WWE needs to adhere to the old adage "the customer is always right". That's my advice for the company.
