So, which show ended up getting the better end of the deal from the draft?

Alright, tonight's Raw episode just ended. Now that we know the results of the WWE 2019 Draft, I figure that we can have ourselves a discussion over the drafts for this week

Here are the updated results:

To Raw:

- Becky Lynch
- O.C (AJ Styles + Club)
- Drew McIntyre
- Randy Orton
- Ricochet
- Bobby Lashley (with Lana)
- Kevin Owens
- Natalya
- Viking Raiders
- Street Profits
- EC3
- Eric Young
- Sin Cara
- Seth Rollins
- Charlotte Flair
- Andrade (with Zelina Vega)
- Kabuki Warriors (Asuka + Kairi Sane)
- Rusev
- Aleister Black
- Cedric Alexander
- Humberto Carrillo
- Erick Rowan
- Buddy Murphy
- Jinder Mahal
- R-Truth
- Samoa Joe
- Akira Tozawa
- Shelton Benjamin
- Rey Mysterio
- Titus O'Neal
- Liv Morgan
- IIconics
- Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder
- Mojo Rawley
- No Way Jose
- Sarah Logan
- AOP

To Smackdown:

- Roman Reigns
- Bray Wyatt
- Sasha Banks
- Braun Strowman
- Lacey Evans
- Revival
- Lucha House Party
- Heavy Machinery
- Apollo Crews
- Drew Gulak
- Heath Slater
- Tamina
- B Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel)
- Brock Lesnar
- New Day
- Daniel Bryan
- Bayley
- Shinsuke Nakamura (with Sami Zayn)
- Ali
- Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler
- Carmella
- The Miz
- Baron Corbin
- Chad Gable (Shorty Gable)
- Elias
- Alexa Bliss
- Nikki Cross
- Cesaro
- Dana Brooke
- Drake Maverick
- Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville
- Luke Harper

Honestly, I think both women's division look fairly balanced. Raw's women have the likes of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and Kairi Sane. There's also Natalya too in the midcard. That's a fairly strong division here.

As for the women on Smackdown, they have Bayley, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, and Nikki Cross. There's also Sonya Deville, Carmella, and Mandy Rose too in the midcard. The division looks solid and fresher atm, but I prefer the top names in the women's division on Raw more.

As for the men's division on Raw, they have the likes of Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Aleister Black, Andrade, Buddy Murphy, Rey Mysterio, Ricochet, Akira Tozawa, Drew McIntyre, Street Profits, Viking Raiders, Cedric Alexander, Humberto Carrillo, Shelton Benjamin, and Rusev on Raw who can help put on some good matches for the show. They also have R-Truth who can potentially be part of some entertaining segments with his 24/7 title.

As for Smackdown, they have the likes of Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ali, New Day, Drew Gulak, The Miz, Robert Roode, Chad Gable, Luke Harper, Revival, Heavy Machinery, Roman Reigns, and Lucha House Party who can put on some entertaining matches for their men's division. They also have the likes of Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Elias, and Drake Maverick who can also be a part of some interesting/compelling segments too.

I'd say that Raw gets the edge over Smackdown for the main-event picture since they don't have the disadvantage of having an absentee world champion, which will allow their main-eventers and upper-midcarders to be prominently featured around the main spotlight.

However, both of their midcard scenes do seem to be more balanced; especially since some of the big names on Smackdown may have to compete for the Intercontinental title since that'll be the #1 "top" belt by default since Brock Lesnar (or Cain Velasquez) isn't losing the WWE title anytime soon. I don't think you can go wrong with either midcard scene being stronger between the two shows here.

As for the tag division, I think Smackdown wins in that department since they have the Revival, New Day, Robert Roode/Dolph Ziggler, Heavy Machinery, and Lucha House Party; especially with the first 3 names being their top tag teams. Raw pretty much has Viking Raiders, Street Profits, and O.C; which doesn't really give that tag division much depth, especially since a couple of those teams will potentially be booked strongly. There's also the possibility of AOP eventually joining Raw's tag division soon.

Alright, now I'm interested to hear your thoughts about these new rosters. Which show got the better end of the deal? Does Raw or Smackdown have the stronger roster? Which show has the more interesting names for you? Which show interests you more (assuming that you watch)?

Raw won. SmackDown has TWO stars, Brock and Roman, and no womens division, and Lacey Evans, who is less over than Mcintyre, is the top womens babyface. Everybody on SmackDown is nonexistent except for Brock, Roman, and Bayley because she's currently the champion but she won't be for long. Everybody Vince sent to SmackDown is a Raw reject that he doesn't believe in.

SmackDown's roster is TRASH.

Re: So, which show ended up getting the better end of the deal from the draft?

RAW is overall better on the main title scene. On Smackdown the WWE title scene is two part timers and a guy named Joe. RAW routed them on the Women's side. There is a huge disparity there. I like Smackdown's tag more but do like Street profits more than any of them.

Since I view everything through a Bryan centric prism, I do like some of the potential matchups. Bryan/Nak is a long awaited feud and an expressed reason why Nak went to WWE. I love Gulak and Gable and I want to see Bryan work with both. Maybe take Gable under his wing. Bryan/Zayn would be great if they rebuilt Zayn, plus they both can promo. I would support a continuance of the Bryan/Roman relationship, I just wish it would end in a WWE title run for Bryan. Doubt it, but an IC title run seems a lock.

I will still reluctantly watch Smackdown and pay little attention to RAW. AEW will def. be my viewing highlight of the week.

Why did they screw over the SD women's division so badly? They literally have Bayley & Sasha, and then also Lacey, Carmella and Tamina?! What the hell were they thinking?

Met Mox on March 28 2015/April 2 2016/August 20 2016/April 1 2017/April 7 2019!!
Met Roman on April 2 2016/April 7 2018!! Met Seth on March 31 2017/April 6 2019!!

Fox doesn't want womens wrestling, obviously. Becky and Charlottes match last week lost 600,000 viewers, and has been slowly driving away the audience.

I guess they'll have Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville on SmackDown too. Maybe even Ruby Riott, Mickie James and possible Nia Jax after they return from their injuries.

Raw won. Almost all the good women are on Raw plus SD ended up with Brock, which is never good.

For me, Bryan is the only bright spot on SD.

Hope Sasha and Bayley fans enjoy watching them put Lacey over.

And losing Corbin is great news for Raw.

Smackdown has overall my favorite wrestlers, but RAW won.

Just realized Smackdown also got Corbin and The Miz which means I don't have to watch them. I only have to put up with Rollins.
