Re: Are wrestlers too thin-skinned?

Interesting take from a guy whose foundations are a largely contrived war between WWE & ECW.

Re: Are wrestlers too thin-skinned?

People in general are too think skinned... But with wrestlers it's pretty ironic since they're physically supposed to be among the toughest people on the planet, yet emotionally they can't take even the mildest of criticisms without blocking someone or going on a tirade

It's not like wrestlers are deleting their Twitters or something.

Re: Are wrestlers too thin-skinned?

Both fans, and wrestlers are too thin-skinned.

This generation of wrestlers get critique year after years. Because they're "the shit product" that fans have negative things to say about. Social media opened up every fan to shit on evertyhing that they didn't like.

And fans as well, they cry about anything, and are fans that "never let go". I mean people hate John Cena more for not losing a match, and give a freepass for something else that's much more harsh.

Now in a normal world. What would anyones reaction be if your mother come home beaten and bloody by some idiot, or John Cena losing a match?

So fans are a part of this complaining thin-skinned culture as well.

Look no further than Hulk Hogan. Guy was as big a house, but his ego was too fragile to let his real life friends like Savage and Beefcake beat him in a scripted wrestling match

This isn't anything specifically for the current crop of wrestlers. The old timers were just as paranoid and fragile

Bully needs to worry about actually filling a casino auditorium for an ROH ppv than what I think about AEW and NXT.

Doesn't WWE have some goofy backstage rules? Where if you break any unwritten rules you must go to " Wrestling Court" and do some stupid shit for people?

You must shake hands with everybody because if you don't they will bury you.

From shoot interviews that I watched. Wrestlers get upset easily.
