Did Big Show's chokeslam ever get called "Showstopper" by commentators or other wrestlers?

In several wrestling games I've played, Big Show's finisher is called Showstopper. But I can't remember a single time it being called that by WWE. Yet that's its name in Day of Reckoning 2, SvR 2006 and SvR 2007. Don't remember about Here Comes the Pain or Shut Your Mouth anymore, but it's probably called Showstopper in those games as well, if I had to guess. Haven't played a wrestling game since SvR 2007 so I dunno if it's still called that in later games.

A logical guess could be the fact that it got a name to distinguish it from several other chokeslams in the game, but Kane's and Undertaker's did not. I think Kane's was just named Kane's Chokeslam. Not "Hell Fire and Brimstone" or anything like that.

Never, not that I know of, anyway.

I do remember when he debuted them calling it The Showstopper, no idea when they stopped calling it that or why. Wonder if HBK had anything to do with it.....

Ah I see.

Well, maybe the video games kept it that way for no reason in particular. I find it more lazy how Edge still had the Edgecution as his primary finisher up until, at least, SvR 2007.

I remember his chokeslam being called that very briefly, but I believe his inverted leg drop bulldog was called the Showstopper for quite some time.

Another thing I could be wrong about, but I seem to associate the name The Showstopper with the chokeslam/hand on chest pin combination, not sure if that's what made The Showstopper The Showstopper though.

Is this the mandela effect again? I do remember this being his finisher a long time ago. Maybe in 1999-2000 or something.

I can't even remember the last time it was called that tbh, His legdrop was referred to as the showstopper a few times but not his chokeslam.

I think that was to distinguish it in the game. Can't remember it being called that. Kane's was called the chokeslam from hell in one of the games. I think it might have been the DOR series.
