WWE Draft set for SmackDown on Oct. 11 and Raw on Oct. 14

There’s about to be a Draft in here!

The destinies of WWE Superstars will be determined during a two-night WWE Draft taking place live on Friday Night SmackDown on Oct. 11 on FOX and Raw on Oct. 14 on USA Network.

On both nights of the Draft, Superstars from Raw and SmackDown will appear along with personalities from FOX and NBCUniversal programming to announce select picks that will determine the rosters of each distinct brand.

Stick with WWE Digital for more news on the WWE Draft as it develops.

Re: WWE Draft to take place on Oct 11 SmackDown

Does this officially mean that we're finally getting separate rosters real soon, and that the wildcard rule finally fucks off for good? :trips8

Re: WWE Draft to take place on Oct 11 SmackDown

It's a shame that this is taking place after HIAC. My blood pressure is going through the roof wondering if Rollins is going to SmackDown or not.
Questionable credibility but...

With the strong hints that Becky is moving to SD and how they don't split couples, I guess we'll see...

I feel like we've been through so many of these "resets", that I'm numb to actually expecting anything good to come out of them long term, but I shall remain cautiously optimistic.

Interesting that they are calling this a draft, rather than a shakeup. Hopefully that means they won't be lazy as fuck and just have random dudes show up with no reasoning.

I wonder if they will bring authority figures back for each brand too? NXT has William Regal as the General Manager on that brand so it is possible SmackDown and Raw may have representatives to make Draft picks for their respective brands. Maybe Heyman and Bischoff return as GMs. This time Eric runs SD and Paul runs Raw.

Speaking of NXT, what is their involvement, if any, in this Draft?

I suppose we shall see.

I just want the IIconics on RAW so they at least have a chance to appear more frequently on tv, even if it is on Main Event

Nice, but all depends on whether both shows actually end up different. Rumours have always been that Fox want Smackdown to be more sport oriented and less comedy so that instantly makes me think that New Day to Raw and Lesnar to Smackdown.

With Kofi being WWE Champion, does he drop the title at HITC or Fox Debut show or does the Universal Title move to Smackdown and gets a Blue makeover or even a new title design (yes please.)

Nakamura & Revival as IC and Tag champions fit well for Smackdown but Women's champions would need to be switched, unless Becky loses to Sasha prior to the draft. If Bliss goes to Smackdown to then surely Charlotte will go to Raw leading to Andrade, Zelina and Black all moving to Raw as well. If Becky goes to Smackdown, then surely Seth moves to...

The 'relationship' concept definitely adds its own dynamic this time as adds it own domino effect that shake ups rosters quite a bit.

Well for me, I hope this leads to the end of quite a few things.

First and foremost, lets end Raw vs Smackdown at Survivor Series, it's stupid, pointless, makes one brand look inferior to the other, and quite frankly doesn't need to be done. Now when they had Raw vs Smackdown, Womens, and Tag Titles matches, they could have had an added stipulation where the losers brand for these respective matches would wind up on the Kickoff Show at WrestleMania. In addition to that, you could have had a winners only match at the December P.P.V., where whoever wins that match is no 30 in the Rumble.

Second, finally end this stupid wild card rule, it's been the biggest waste of time, and none storyline progression I've ever herd of. It started out I believe up to 6 per show, and then it just is 10-15 people on either show, with nothing really going on. I mean for fucks sake, the Raw and Smackdown tag champs are on the opposite roster for crying out loud.

Third , make the sets unique and different, which I've already read that they were doing, however like Triple H. did when they switched to High def camera's, make their be a storyline reason for switching the set and whatnot. Like have Lesnar defeat Kofi, then as he's celebrating Bobby Lashley spears him threw the set.

SmackDown getting WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, Aleister Black, Alexa Bliss, Ali, Andrade, AoP, Becky Lynch, Buddy Murphy, Carmella, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Drake Maverick, Erick Rowan, Heath Slater, Heavy Machinery, John Morrison, Kevin Owens, Lacey Evans, Liv Morgan, Lucha House Party, Luke Harper, Mandy Rose, Nikki Cross, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio, Robert Roode, Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins, Sin Cara, Sonya Deville, The New Day, The Revival, The Usos, The Viking Raiders and Zelina Vega

Raw getting Universal Champion Bray Wyatt, Raw Women's Champion Sasha Bot, United States Champion AJ Styles, Aiden English, Alicia Fox, Apollo Crews, Bayley, Boring Corbin, Braun Strowman, Cedric Alexander, Chad Gable, Curt Hawkins, Dana Brooke, EC3, Elias, Ember Moon, Eric Young, Lana, Maria Kanellis, Matt Hardy, Mike Kanellis, Mojo Rawley, Naomi, Natalya, No Way Jose, Randy Orton, Ricochet, Rusev, Sarah Logan, Shelton Benjamin, Tamina, The Ascension, The B-Team, The Colons, The IIconics, The Kabuki Warriors, The Miz, The O.C., Titus O'Neil and Zack Ryder

:lmao

Bray is going to run through some geeks on Raw.
Can't wait for this. After all the burials SmackDown got over the years, it will be nice to see Raw getting its ass kicked. Bray Wyatt will be fine on Raw as the Universal Champion while destroying guys like Braun Strowman, Randy Orton and The Miz. Triple H should also put him over at some point. Having Bray lose at Hell in a Cell and then moving him to SmackDown where he has zero chance of winning Brock Lesnar's WWE Championship would kill him. Roman Reigns will definitely defeat Brock Lesnar for the belt at WM, I have no faith in them having Brock lose the strap to Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens or Samoa Joe. Daniel Bryan winning the Royal Rumble, switching brands and facing Bray Wyatt for his title would save WM.
