Re: It's probably NOT a good thing that every Champ trys to"Restore the Prestige of the Title"

That’s true. Honestly WWE was doing a decent job at the start of the brand split in 2016, especially with Miz/Ziggler for example... and then Idk wtf happened because I can barely remember who won the title since then.
Give the champions some mic time to cut memorable promos, a couple of heated feuds, a couple of great matches.. AT LEAST.
All I see is a bunch of rince and repeat shit and nothing valuable to invest in.

I could probably name by order almost every WHC between 2002-2008 just for example, but not the past 2 years IC champ.I couldn’t tell u who was the tag champs 6 months ago!

There are currently 22 belts in WWE.

22.

No wonder none of them are prestigious...

That's actually something that shouldn't be said on screen. It actually buries the title in a sense that it implies it was irrelevant.

Only thing that will bring back prestige to the title is if Creative actually puts time and effort into bringing prestige back. The better the story, the more time for promos and matches, the more interest in that title and prestige goes up if you do it consistently. Ex: Fall 2016 IC title vs IC title today or 2015 US title vs US title today.

"Meaningless, huh?! What do you know of meaningless?!

Spend most of your life ruled by another...watch your race dwindle to a handful...and then, tell me what has more meaning than your own strength.

I have in me the blood of a Saiyan Prince, he is nothing but a joke. Yet I've had to watch him surpass me in strength, my destiny, thrown to the wayside!

He's...he's even saved my life as if I were a helpless child. He has stolen my honor...and his debts...must be paid!"

And very few have succeeded.

That's insane! I don't like it. I feel as if everyone on the roster has held at least one belt during their WWE career.

Trying to "restore prestige to X title" is code for trying "book the X title better". It shouldn't be said but it should definitley be shown through the booking which is extremely hard at this point. You have all these champions across all these brands that you have to make look strong, all in the meanwhile building up challengers and trying to get guys on the undercard to be on that level to the next challenger. It's a real tough balancing act when you think about it.

Well, least they admit that their titles have no prestige. Not a wise thing to admit on screen, but honest.
