Alright, which show ended up getting the better end of the deal from the shakeup?

Hey, everyone! Now that we know the results of the WWE 2019 Superstar Shakeup, I figure that we can have ourselves a discussion over the trades for this week

Here are the results:

To Raw:

- The Miz
- Ricochet
- War Raiders (Viking Raiders)
- Cedric Alexander
- Rey Mysterio
- Usos
- Naomi
- EC3
- Eric Young
- Lacey Evans
- AJ Styles
- Samoa Joe
- Cesaro
- Club

To Smackdown:

- Finn Balor
- Lars Sullivan
- Ember Moon
- Bayley
- Kairi Sane
- Buddy Murphy
- Elias
- Roman Reigns
- Mickie James
- Liv Morgan
- Chad Gable
- Apollo Crews
- Heavy Machinery
- Aleister Black
- Jinder Mahal
- Singh Brothers
- B Team

Honestly, I think Raw got the better end of the deal overall for the men. Guys like AJ Styles, Cesaro, Ricochet, The Miz, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, Usos, War Raiders, and Cedric Alexander are great additions to have on the Raw roster

Those guys can definitely help carry the in-ring quality on that show along with the likes of Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler (if he's still around with the company), Lio Rush, the Revival, and Drew McIntyre. Plus, I'm interested to see what they do with Bobby Roode now that he's officially a solo act.

Smackdown did get some great picks with guys like Aleister Black, Finn Balor, and Buddy Murphy

Chad Gable is a pretty good pick in-ring wise. Elias is an entertaining midcard act. Lars Sullivan could definitely make a big impact on Smackdown, and Roman Reigns being added to the blue brand is an interesting choice. You also still have guys like Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Big E (when he returns), Andrade, Ali, Sheamus, Shinsuke Nakamura, the Hardy Boyz, and Rusev who can be part of some entertaining matches with those names too.

However, the Smackdown women's division is fucking stacked

You have women like Becky Lynch (for now), Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Ember Moon, Bayley, Kairi Sane, Mickie James, and Sonya Deville ALL on the same roster

Raw basically have women like Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Ruby Riott, Sasha Banks (if she's still around), Natalya, and Naomi; which doesn't really match Smackdown's side. There's also Lacey Evans too, but she's still pretty inexperienced atm. Zelina Vega is pretty much a valet nowadays.

Anyway, I think Smackdown easily wins with the women's side. However, Raw probably got the better end of the deal for me because the male call-ups make up in strength for what they lack in the female side.

This year's shakeup may have been more balanced compared to that clean sweep from last year

Okay, so now I'm interested to hear your thoughts about these new rosters. Which show got the better end of the deal? Does Raw or Smackdown have the stronger roster? Which show has the more interesting names for you? Which show interests you more (assuming that you watch)?

Feel free to share your thoughts here

Smackdown got about 4-5 people on the roster I'm even checkin for at this point. Raw clearly for me

Raw did but for a different reason to me.

AJ Styles
Seth Rollins
Alexa Bliss
Becky Lynch

All 4 of my faves are on the same show.

Ooooh shit. Now that Roode and Gable broke up, now hopefully they will utilize Roode to his strengths and FINALLY have him be a singles heel on the main roster. Would love that.

Raw getting to keep heel Sami Zayn too is something that I feel people are overlooking/underrating. So happy he's staying on Raw, and staying as his heel character.

Both have good talent that will be buried underneath Seth, AJ and Roman so both shows will continue to suck.

Re: Alright, which show ended up getting the better end of the deal from the shakeup?

It's kind of a toss up really.

I think Smackdown clearly has the stronger women's division by miles, especially if Becky stays. You have Kairi and Asuka, two of the best workers in the division, and then Bayley, Ember, and Mickie, all of who are great. It'll be interesting to see if they really push guys like Gable and Crews, or do something different with them, but I'd say they stayed even on the men's side, although losing AJ is pretty huge. Buddy Murphy being there is a big upgrade though, gaining Balor is cool as well. Roman being around makes things interesting, and I hope we get a feud with Bryan in the future.

Raw's tag division is much stronger for sure. Ricochet/Black remain together (despite me wishing for both of them to become singles guys again), The Fucking Viking Experience is there, along with The Usos, those three alone make a great division, along with Revival, and a soon to return AOP apparently. I'd say their midcard is a bit better too, Miz is always great, Andrade is amazing and never has a bad match, Rey and Joe bring more star power, Sami is dependent on if he gets a main role, and Cedric is a wild card. AJ is a massive upgrade all on his own. However, they neutered the shit out of their women's division. Lacey, Naomi, Natayla, and Alexa are going to be the main stars for now or something I guess?

Overall, I side slightly with Smackdown if anything, but its way closer than it was originally.

What if Becky ends up being Raw exclusive?

I agree with you right now on the women's roster. If Becky pulls double duty or stays on SD, then SD's women's division is clearly better. But if Becky drops the SD title and then anchors Raw, I think it evens it up imo.

Also, what happens with Sasha also matters. If she comes back to Raw...different ball game.

Top 5: 1) Seth Rollins 2) Becky Lynch 3) Aleister Black 4) Daniel Bryan 5) The Miz

I think Smackdown, but overall, I'm pretty happy with all of the choices that were made. I think most are going to say RAW was better just because they think Roman going to SD is more of an addition by subtraction kind of thing, but I'm excited of all the fresh matchups for him.

To me, RAW's main issue is the lack of compelling heels, the three top heels are all your generic Vince bland big guys. Hopefully Roode gets a significant push now with Gable gone.

A lot of potential with both Rosters, but that has always been the case, I have little faith in WWE realizing that potential, and what I imagine we'll get instead is just random matches on RAW with no build up. I fully expect Rollins/Styles to be thrown away on a random episode of Raw or a B-PPV.

Sami Zayn's entrance from Raw this week fucking kills me
