Both Becky and Bryan had their crowning moments at different WrestleManias and both were also scheduled to face disappointing challengers for their first defense, in the fan's eyes anyway.

Obviously Kane was a better worker and had more credibility but fans were pretty apathetic towards Kane as a singles competitor by this point, probably because of him being around so long doing the same thing, just slower due to his age. Not to mention the many years of jobbing he'd been through by then. Lacey is a fresh face at the very least which is why I think it's not an open and shut case.

Which challenger sucked more momentum out of the champion's respective reigns in your opinion? Bryan had to drop the belt due to injury anyway but that doesn't change the consensus that Kane was an underwhelming challenger to start Daniel Bryan's reign after the star making night he had at WrestleMania.

Lacey Evans without question....Kane isn't deflating, because in a shoot, Kane would put the clown shoes to DB. Guys 3-4 heads taller and 150+ pounds heavier should never lose I don't care if the smaller guy has the wrestling skills of Dan Gable. If we are speaking kayfabe too, D Bry doesn't have any otherworldly kayfabe feats, whereas Kane has a wealth of them, he was thrown into a flaming trash can and came back the next week with no injuries at all.

Lacey is not 10 years past her prime so I'm gonna go with Kane here.

Also Lacey is not a bad first challenger it's something fresh, she is strong character worker and pretty good on the mic so I'm enjoying this feud so far.

Lacey by far. Kane, even though he was well past his prime, he could still wrestle and knows psychology.

Lacey Evans, well because she's a nobody right now, and Kane was an established guy, who had a history with the champion.

The Lacey feud hasn't even hasn't even happened yet so it's ridiculous to try to rate it in retrospect right now.

With the amount of PPVs they have now a first challenger is just the beginning of a champion's reign if it's going to be a long one. Unless the Lacey feud is an overwhelming success Becky is going to dispose of her in a couple of B PPVs while she build towards bigger challengers, particularly for Summerslam.

Wrestlemania just happened, if they put her in there with the biggest name they can less than a month later there is no where left for her to go.

Honestly, I'd rather not act like Vince and bury Lacey before she even has a proper feud first. Last night her match was ok, her promo was actually pretty decent and I liked her new finisher so I'm going to let this one play out before declaring it "most deflating ever" because I'm interested in what's going to unfold.

Kane. Lacey can at least improve and become a great worker. It's been downhill with Kane since 2013

My only complaint with Lacey is that I wish she had more of a build that just walking back and forth.
