Re: Most Disappointing Title Run

Rey Mysterio. In 2011 he won the WWE Championship on Raw, and lost it to John Cena 1 hour later. I mean, that's pretty disappointing for Mysterio fans lol.

Dean Ambrose. He won by cashing in on Rollins and I dont remember much after except that he lost it to Styles. His matches weren’t good and he didn’t really do much of anything as champion. Very forgettable especially since I had high hopes.

Re: Most Disappointing Title Run

Goldberg in 98 deserves a mention. He becomes a juggernaut star and WCW's best hope in the MNW, beating Hogan fucking clean. Then, surprise surprise, takes a backseat to Hogan beating off with the likes of Dennis Rodman, Jay Leno and his number one cock gobbler Bischoff.

Barely having actual PPV main events and top stars to defeat, before losing to another Mr Politics, Kevin Nash, at the biggest event of the same year about 6 months after winning. Pathetic.

Oh apparently losing to Nash was his fault for cooling off and getting booed, nothing related at all to getting booked like a 2nd or 3rd fiddle instead of the top star he deserved.

"You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait."

"I backed him. You can see how loyal he is. He was begging for my endorsement. I could have said, 'Mitt, drop to your knees.' He would have dropped to his knees."

"You oughta see this guy - 'uh, I don't know what I said, uh, I don't remember,'"

“I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me – and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

"He is a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured."

Re: Most Disappointing Title Run

Edge's first WWE title reign. It only lasted for 3 weeks. He beat Cena at NYR after cashing in his MITB suitcase and then lost it 3 weeks later to Cena again in a 1 on 1 match at the Royal Rumble PPV. It was memorable because of the live sex celebration, but that's it. It's like it was only done to test the waters and to make the fans regain some sympathy for Cena.

Also, despite being a legend, all of Undertaker's world title reigns have been a bit underwhelming. I think The Undertaker gimmick/character just doesn't work as a champion. He's more meant to be an attraction and not the centre-piece of the show.

Re: Most Disappointing Title Run

Every time they threw the fans a bone for one month during the reign of terror. Michaels in 02, Goldberg in 03 and Orton in 04, all 3 of those pissed me off to no end as a kid.

Every run Seth had. Sorry, he just does nothing at all for me.

I'm a Baron Corbin mark and I don't care what you think about that

What title run was most disappointing for you??
Bryan's heel WWE title this past few months was one of the best in the last few years. He was excellent, so I say it was better then decent imo.

Sucks about his title after WM30, although feuding with Kane didn't help him. He did have a great match at Extreme Rules with him. But such a shame about his injury.

I thought Punk's WHC with his first run as a face and SES, once the Hardy feud was over he was given nothing to work with. Reign's has never had a great reign either. Becky's and Asuka's Smackdown title run's were so disappointing it's not even funny. Christian's WHC run. Those are the ones which come to mind for me.

His WWE heel title run wasn't blow away to be fair, he had a match with Sting and then work U.S title off Cena thank's to Jon Stewart besides from that he didn't exactly have anything blow away. His most memorable thing was winning it with the cash in at WM 31.

Fingers crossed his Universal title run is a lot better.
