Yes I mentioned that in the OP if you read it. This thread is about either guy tapping out now since it would mean a lot more than it did back when they last tapped.

Thus my answer, which implies a "no".

It doesn't matter how long ago, Cena tapped out more than once, so it wouldn't matter. I don't know if Lesnar has, but if he has ever tapped out, same thing.

Roman Reigns learning how to do a submission move would be like teaching a chimp Neurosurgery.

Samoa Joe has loads already!

What question are you even answering? Nothing I asked in this thread, that's for sure. I get the feeling you just didn't read the OP and got defensive when I brought it up.

Of course it matters how long ago he last tapped out. Cena was a midcarder when he last tapped out and I'm pretty sure he was still billed as "the prototype" when he tapped for the first time. You can count both Cena's and Brock's submission losses on one hand so that kind of win over them would naturally mean more.

Brock has been pinned before so by your logic a pin over him doesn't matter either.

You seem to assume an awful lot of things so let me be very clear.

No they won't tap out again because tapping someone out means a lot more than pinning them. Do people need the accolade of tapping Cena or Lesnar out when there has already been people doing it before (Angle had Lesnar tapping out to the Ankle Lock, I checked) ? No because it doesn't mean much and WWE will certainly go with a regular pin.

ZSJ could easily tap out Lesner, he has done it to opponents that are just as big. I think he has tapped out Walter!

Though I wouldn't want him in WWE. That would be like Radiohead going to Taylor Swifts production company, so they can improve.

That would look like my five-year-old son catching me in a triangle. Nah, son, nah.

You've watched the last five years of wrestling and you're calling for MORE Lesnar/Reigns? Did someone get to you?

Yeah! Why would you have someone tap out on a big stage if they've tapped out before?!?

Yeah I'm sure that's not just a whole lot of backtracking when you could've simply said "no" instead of saying "Cena tapped to Kurt Angle" to supposedly imply ALL of that lol.

Benoit and Kurt tapping out Angle were treated as huge deals by the way, even Benoit who tapped him out second which by your logic should make it not matter since it happened before even though an entire storyline came out of it that made Benoit seem like one of the few people credible enough to beat Lesnar which did wonders for him. Lesnar has rarely even been pinned since then so I don't see how you can act like submitting him wouldn't mean much given the way he's been booked since his UFC stint.

You have to consider stages of their career, booking and circumstances. If someone tapped out Hulk before the Hulkamania era it wouldn't mean as much as Luger submitting him for the title in WCW for example.

I'm done with this back and forth about you missing the point of the thread with your first post but it's clear you just read the title initially.

Re: Do you think Brock and Cena will ever tap out before retiring?

I don't think tapping out means any more than pinning them cleanly these days.

There's no such thing as a "rub" in wrestling anymore so just beating them, whether its clean or dirty, is good enough.
