With the post-WM Raw and SD ratings being all time lows

is it time to admit that Seth and Kofi are not good choices to be world champs? There is clearly a disconnect between what the smarks want and what the casual fans want. Guys like Seth and Kofi might get cheered by smark crowds but they clearly aren't moving the needle in the ratings or driving the business forward.

A world champion should be a larger than life star. Someone that you can send to do talk shows and interviews that everyone will notice. They should be able to boost ratings and PPV buys (or Network subs now) when they are champ.

The way Rollins won the title was a joke, it diminished him and it makes the title a paper championship. The only people it satisfies are those who hate Lesnar and want to see the title off him by any means necessary. I think Lesnar is great, but I'd rather he lost clean than lost in such a way.

Kofi won fair and square but he's just not a main event player. He lacks any sort of personality.

The quality of the product is at an all time low. SD was embarrassing. Shane O'Mac dragging around an announcer by the tie choking him and laughing about him crying.

Make no mistake: WWE will sink to even lower lows. It's hard to characterize WWE as anything other than demonic at this point.

Too early to blame them, I think fans are just tired of the terrible booking.

Doesn't help that the two stars they had are gone, don't get me wrong they're not huge in the WWE. But their name means something outside the WWE.

Lame characters, dull stories, same format, wack tiers (geeks becoming world champion overnight) and no stars. Hardly surprising no one watches.

My issue with it is has become a lot about race and they've erased The Rock to push this smark narrative

Bro Scarlett looks SO damn good in your sig pic. LOL

Back on topic, it all comes down to booking. I'm sure WWE has plenty of superstars that can fit the "larger than life" category, but if they don't book them as such, then we will never see it. Don't forget that WWE doesn't want anyone being bigger than the brand anymore.

Have to agree with this. I like Rollins and all but the way he won the title did him no favors nor put him over as a face. It is nice to have the title on a full timer but the way they went about it just leaves a bad taste.

With the current creative/writing team even Austin would fail to draw ratings if he were to appear on the show in a weekly basis.

Goldberg drew monster numbers across all 3 hrs for his return, after 4-5 appearances the numbers were back to normal. Casuals saw what the company had become and didn't want to stick around.
