That every one called embarassing. Was exactly the type of matches we got from TNA. When they had Sting or Foley in main events. Plus TNA didn't just bring in old big names. They brought in old mid card names. They had Stevie Richards, Raven and ECW old guys around for a while.

Making new stars is what's important. TNA always put the old veterans over trying to make new stars. Look at WWE current roster AJ, Joe, Jeff Hardy, Lashley and Drew all have big roles on Raw and Smackdown. If TNA would have focused on pushing younger talent when they were on Spike. The company might be in much better shape now.

.
Raven and Richards weren't world champion when they got brought back in 2009. Which was the whole point of my post in the first place.

It doesn't matter to an extent. But at the same time, it's another one of WWE's top stars gone and they don't have enough top stars to begin with.

He almost was in WWE LUL

Oh wait he had 1 match for the title, but lost like every match he had in WWE.

Re: Eric Bischoff Doesn’t Think Dean Ambrose Leaving WWE Matters

WWE has lost a ton of viewers in the last decade. TNA at its peak could have been legit competition in the ratings for current WWE. With a major TV deal, good marketing and a strong product the AEW can absolutely compete with WWE. 2 million viewers isn't that hard to get.

Dean is one of the biggest names in WWE and him jumping ship will open the floodgates for others to follow.

He’s only talking from a wwe perspective. It doesn’t matter for them at all, I agree.

It matters a whole fuck ton for AWE if he signs with them.

I don't think any single person could hurt WWE by leaving. Hell they could lose half their people that are regularly on TV, and they wouldn't lose a step. I contend the people on TV are not hugely liked anyway. Most of us are clinging to hope that one day our faves will get a shot at the spotlight again, or at least the pain of the current booking will go away.

I would agree with Eric. And I don't agree with him very often.

Vince and WWE have a stranglehold on professional wrestling, and that isn't going to change. WWE might continue to lose steam, lose viewers, etc etc etc, but nobody is going to take their place. As WWE goes, so does pro wrestling.

That's why it amuses me when people think orgs like AEW are actually going to become legitimate challengers to WWE.

"But AEW is financially backed by Tony Khan, and he's a billionaire!"

Yeah, and he'll simply cut his losses when AEW starts hemorrhaging money.

This guy gets it.
