He should've been the manager of the Shield back in 2012 IMO.

Re: Paul Heyman To Remain With WWE As An On-Air Performer

He does need a break from television for the fans to recharge, but there are a handful of people who could greatly benefit from a pairing with Heyman.

The obvious choice would be a heel Roman, but we all know that aint happening.

My vote would be Asuka. It's new and different, and would eliminate what is viewed as Asuka's one weakness, promo skills.

But that would require WWE to actually do something with her, which, given the way Women's Division is currently constituted, unfortunately isn't going to happen, at least not any time soon. WWE's in full spin the wheels mode until Vince's handpicked tone deaf mean event happens. It's a shame but it is what it is.

Heyman managing Charlotte would be cool. She's already despised.

Re: Paul Heyman To Remain With WWE As An On-Air Performer

I'm happy to hear Heyman will be around more now that Bork has fucked off to UFC.

Heyman is a genius on the mic, and with him getting behind someone other than Lesnar, hopefully the promos won't be the same every week. I mean, the guy tried his best with the dozen Lesnar promos, but really when you're being told to just go out there call Lesnar a beast, promote the next PPV and leave, there's only so much you can do.

Let's get some proper Heyman promos back on TV. I don't care who he manages - it'll automatically make them better. (Unless it's Curtis Axel) lol

I'm always cool with Heyman being around, he's great.

Obviously a pairing with heel Roman isn't going to happen so I'd like to see him work with Owens, I think it would bring back a lot of KOs credibility and they would be very entertaining together. If that option isn't on the table, give Paul a monster heel stable.
Ronda?? I'll pass on that, I dont see it working plus she is doing just fine on her own.

Pair Heyman with Asuka. Give her a mouthpiece, and she would be fine. Honestly they should have taken Becky's heel turn and given it to Asuka. Because if Heyman had cut the same promo Becky had, and said that fans had abandoned Asuka/stopped supporting her, he would be pretty much correct.

Could always put him on commentary. Doubt anyone would care who he replaced.

Meltzer lost his sources in WWE so most of what he does now is guess work based on watching the product, just like us. People still post his speculations as inside news so from the perspective of somebody taking him seriously as a journalist, it looks like he's either always wrong or only right when it's blatantly obvious.
