Re: NWO 4 LIFE!

NWO had its run, none of them should ever be competing in another match though.

The bullet club is a cheap poor man's rip off of the nWo if you want the truth. Is finn balor even tall enough to reach Nash's waistline?

At the end of the day they represent most everything the nWo did.

Impossibly cool heels that fans love- check

Popular shirt- check

Wanting to kayfabe run promotions they're in- check

A string of members that don't matter - check

Inner turmoil- check

A change against what the industry stood for at the time- fucking check

I like bigger wrestlers too, but don't be the size weirdo. I don't like NJPW/ROH or care about the Bullet Club/ Elite, but respect where respect is due.

One is a glorified asshole, one is a shell of himself that recently recovered a little of his glory after his substance abuse and the other was a bland big guy who always came off selfish.

I have been here a member for 3 full months and I've probably seen about a dozen threads wanting this tired stable back in the fold. If you MUST have it make it with new superstars and a different title with the same attitude.

Let it go. Seriously.

I'm a HUGE fan of the nWo and I don't even want them back to be honest tho. I mean I honestly don't even care for Hogan much(only time I ever did was nWo Hogan tho) so I can agree they don't need to come back. But I mean to try and say we're the worst is a bit to much IMO. Surly since a good bit probably honestly don't want them in a match. Hall of Fame? Hell yeah, but not a match.

Pointing out the outrageous size difference of Finn Balor to...well..... just about everyone else is not being a "weirdo",....it's just using common sense. The nWo began the huge wrestling boom in the late mid to late 90's. I was in high school at the time and before that period wearing a pro wrestling shirt guaranteed a beating from the jocks and popular kids. After the nWo, you saw those shirts everywhere, then came the Austin shirts and rock and so on and so on. nWo made wrestling cool again. I still see a few nWo shirts in public today and I have never ever seen bullet club merchandise outside of wrestling events and even that it's mostly the smaller indy events. You and everyone else are free to choose whom you like but do not ever ever compare the bullet club to the nWo, it's like comparing Russev Day to The Rock.

Bullet Club is the modern nWo wether you like it or not. Nobody's arguing that the Bullet Club is more success or famous, but in storyline they pretty much bring everything to the table that the nWo did barring height. People didn't like nWo because they were tall, they thought they were cool. Wrestling fans of today think the Bullet Club is cool. And no the nWo just coming back isn't going to do anything long term for the business on a mainstream level. If it worked like that Impact would've been a much bigger promotion in the mid 2000s given they had back names like the nWo, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Sting, The Dudley's, and all sort of folk.

Look you just have to accept wrestling isn't the cool thing and it's not going to become the cool thing again. Save your "back in my day you used to get beat up for wearing a wrestling shirts, then it changed with the nWo and suddenly I was cool too" sob story. Nobody cares lol, wrestling isn't cool and if you're really a wrestling fan that's okay. If you really want wrestling to be cool again you'd want the business to come up with fresh ideas, not retread shit that's already been done

The little bullet club has done nothing for wrestling on the main stream level in the past nor will it in the future, can't say the same for the nWo can we? My little "sob story" isn't a story, it's the truth and there isn't a single thing you or people like you can do to change the honest truth. The bullet club isn't a big deal. The bullet club was never a big deal. The bullet club will never ever be a big deal. The only people that think the bullet club is cool is fat neckbeards living in their mom's basement, something I'm sure you are already or will be soon extremely familiar with.

Re: NWO 4 LIFE!

So we have another Nostalgic wrestling fan that just can't accept the fact that wrestling is not, and probably never will be mainstream ever again.

So WWE should just accept what the smarks say and do what the smarks want? Thank goodness Vince and HHH are too smart for that.

Well I mean shit. Given that those so called smarks are about the only ones still watching the product...
