Shane was the one who wanted WWE to go into the digital market, and although I can't find the exact source atm, WWE's own website gives a hint.

A good product is best for business .. most of the cases.

But WWE "KNOWS" its audience; if you got some dumb rich hick in a green shirt filling out your audience every shit show, why bother putting effort in? hell I haven't watched much at all of WWE & I'm going to a house show in November so that's that.

Bah GAWD ALMIGHTY! It's him!!!

Although Brock Lesnar's "Go to hell tour" might be coming to a close; we still have the decade strong, Vince McMahon's "Go fuck yourself" tour to look forward to.

I see wwe as a show that Vince McMahon can let his grandchildren watch. That's his whole purpose right now. To see those grandkids grow up watching his shows. Everything is made for them. Once Vince dies the direction will change dramatically and we will probably see an adult focus again.

In the meantime I support my local indy...

They only listen to the people generating revenue for them. Until things go awry with their revenue, WWE will continue to follow their successful strategy.

Unfortunately for you, there aren't enough critics that will influence WWE's decision making.

Ratings and attendance are shit and the WWE Network isn't that successful. They're just really lucky they landed the deal with FOX and that Vince has no moral standards by taking big paydays from Saudi Arabia.

Short term they’re set. But if there is a collapse with TV channels and what they can pay for content then they run the risk of some issues. Like they’re set for the next 5 years or however long their contract is for. After tht though who knows what they’re in for. Are content prices going to go up for content or will there be a crash?
