WWE Kayfabe rankings

Been thinking about doing this for a long time. This is a list which basically ranks all the wrestlers in WWE and their kayfabe standings based on their list of clean singles wins in 2018 so far. This should give an idea of how WWE perceives these wrestlers and where they are on the pecking order.

No, I do not count roll up pins. Those will always be lucky wins to me with the way WWE presents them. Not some outwrestling shit like some people claim. They do that on the indies. Not in WWE.

Re: WWE Kayfabe rankings

Would be much easier to follow

1. if you listed the wrestler and then all the clean wins they have.

2. Listed the men's and women's list in descending order of number of clean wins. Or at least in alphabetical order.

Other than that can tell you put a lot of work into it. Nice thread for stats on who's been winning clean

Well thanks. I can continue doing this if people want to and kind of want to myself but as you said, its a lot of work. Took me around 3 hours straight just to do this much because I had to go and watch the end of the matches to make sure they were clean. Unfortunately, no one seems to be keeping a record of clean victories or losses, probably because the definition of a clean victory differs from people to people.

Yeah clean victory is very subjective, not to mention whether that loss hurts somebody lol. But what's your loose definition of clean victory.

When the victory has no reasonable doubt that the victor is better than the loser.

So any victory which involves interference, lucky injuries, pre-match injuries, taunting, distractions, roll-ups, weird win conditions and whatever else that can make me doubt to say that the winner is better than the loser aren't clean to me.

See me injuries pre-existing or lucky and roll-ups are clean to me. Roll-ups are fair game, and injuries are apart of the game. But I get why for others they might see it different.

I appreciate the work you put in, but I did have a question.

What do you do about the royal rumble and elimination chamber wins?

Also Reigns obviously beat a "worn out" Braun who then destroyed Reigns after the match, do you count that as a win?

I think the reason why people don;t do lists like this is because of the subjectivity of wrestling.

Thanks once again, though. If you need any help ask around, i am sure others would love to help out if they could, I know I will.

1-I only really count singles matches with few exceptions and the royal rumble wins are not counted. However, an elimination chamber pinfall might be counted.

2-Depends how worn out. If Braun was obvious selling that he was fatigued than no it does not count.

Re: WWE Kayfabe rankings

A roll-up with no other assistance (rope-holding, tights-holding) is a clean pinfall and a clean win if it's successful. I don't know how you could discount it; the object of any match is to win while at the same time following the rules.
