Fantastic midcard with plenty of guys who can move up the card like Almas, Orton and Rusev.

Tag team division is stacked and Sanity is another good addition to the show (although I don't see any of them adding to the singles divisions much.
The Beast, can certainly go singles.

Re: Superstar Shake-up The Aftermath

Smackdown was a huge winner out of the NXT call-ups and shake-up.

First off The Miz is golden on the mic and when he was the only confirmed name going to SD a lot of people were still calling it a win. Everyone knew SD was getting some bodies but even if they had been mid and lower carders they weren't being massively screwed. They lost some decent talent but not the people that the show was built around so they can cope with losing people like Dolph, Roode, Fashion Police & Jinder. Losing Sami & Kevin is a blow but their act had kind of gotten into a rut so getting them away from Shane O'Mac was a good idea. Gable is a bit of a loss in ring. Zach, Mojo, Konnor etc are solid talent but well and truly stuck in the mid to lower card. So SD really didn't lose much that it was going to miss badly. So if they were going to get a bunch of midcarders they were still going to be okay.

Instead they got Jeff Hardy, The Bar, Samoa Joe, Cass & The Club all of whom have enough going for them to be players. Other than Joe they are all probably Upper Mid card guys. The Tag division in particular is now stacked with genuinely good teams.

They got Asuka which well and truly offsets the loss of Natalya.

Then the NXT call ups of the Iconics, Almas & Zelina & Sanity all add people who can be more than useful.

Of all the Absolution/ Riott Squad girls the two that have gained a small amount of traction are Deville & Mandy so the swap of them for the Riott Squad isn't a disaster.

Leaving R-Truth who ... well he isn't going to be used much anyway and when he is he can still be amusing on occasion when used well - his skit on SD this week was fun.

What I liked about the shake-up is the vast majority of the people moved were the ones who were going to be helped by a change of scenery.

Re: Superstar Shake-up The Aftermath

Personally think this is the first time both rosters have looked good since the 2016 brand split started.

On Raw you have guys like Reigns, Rollins, Balor, Strowman, Elias, Ambrose (albeit currently unavailable), Owens and Zayn, while on SDL you have Bryan, Styles, Joe, Orton, Miz, Jeff, Nakamura and Almas.

SDL has the better roster, but Raw by no means has a weak roster, far from it. If they were to pick up a big name from NXT such as Black, I would probably say the rosters were fairly even. They also have guys like Wyatt and McIntyre who could be pushed as credible main eventers if one of Raw’s true main eventer’s was to get injured, so there is good depth there.

Raw’s main issue is that they have the guys like Mahal, Corbin and Mojo, who just totally put fans off from watching. They are burdens to the show.

Re: Superstar Shake-up The Aftermath

It was not a Shake-Up, It was a Earthquake.

And my question is: With these moves. How will crowd distinguish A-Show out of B-Show?

Re: Superstar Shake-up The Aftermath

Raw became OBSOLETE after this shakeup. Matt Hardy is more or less the only reason left for me to watch

Geez, some people are already back to the 'Smackdown is the best show ever' thing

Raw is still #1 for me, cos my top five favourites are on Raw.

Met Mox on March 28 2015/April 2 2016/August 20 2016/April 1 2017/April 7 2019!!
Met Roman on April 2 2016/April 7 2018!! Met Seth on March 31 2017/April 6 2019!!

Re: Superstar Shake-up The Aftermath

imagine being delusional enough to believe that the roster that has roman in it be the "superior" one

having him in a top 5 favorites list automatically makes one's opinion invalid

anyways, smackdown clearly has the stronger roster. it should be obvious to everyone already.

I've found his singles matches fairly underwhelming so far and he's not a great talker.

They do have AJ, Bryan and Joe to be fair... the future looks bright to me.
