It's not so bad. Vince might be ignorant, but he's been around a long time and he's seen what has worked and what has failed - and the Razor character was hugely popular with those mannerisms so it's not surprising that he would want Carlito to be similar. Carlito didn't need it however, he was a good mic worker, charismatic, and was decently over from 2004 to 2006 but it was Carlito's poor attitude backstage and lack of work ethic that held him back.

Its just a culturally representative gimmick, very fitting in a entertainment oriented industry like pro-wrestling. I don't see anything wrong.

Would you get offended if a Director of a movie, asks his puerto rican actor cast in the movie to act more "puerto rican" for a scene?
No. Itís definetely racist.

If I got told to act more black, Iím taking offence.

I donít think it comes from a bad place. I donít believe Vince has any problems with different cultures or anything like that, but itís ignorant and dangerous to just shrug it off as old people gonna old.

What is the problem? He just told him to play his character better, the fuck is wrong with that?

Vince could literally publically butcher an innocent child to death for no reason and some people on here would blame the child for it and say Vince is innocent
People just do not want to see Vince for what he is.

The difference is that Stereotypes have been done in the wwe among all cultures and nationalities.

Similar to the Simpson's which is basically a show full of stereotypes.

Even Vince played his stereotype well.
