Re: Corey Graves Owns Vince Russo With His Response On Social Media

Commentators rarely sound excited these days, go back and listen to Vince McMahon or JR on commentary.

Michael Cole is a smart operator but heís the most guilty of that sterile style of delivery.

Graves is just trying to be cool towards corporate by bagging Russo. Itís like the new kid at school bagging someone because he thinks the cool kids donít like that guy. It is so childish... which makes his retort ironic.

Also what's with Corey quoting "driving force" as if Russo wasn't the driving force, firstly Graves wasn't there all he has is the revisionist history likely by Corporate and secondly Russo was the driving force, because before Russo became head of creative they were failing with the same roster.
STFU please.

In 2017 why are we still using the word "owned" in a context that isn't the possession of a property? Blasted hipster talk. (Yeah I know you're not doing it so don't worry)

This is just a work to get people to talk about that awesome Jordan/Braun matchup. *Sarcasm detected.*

Dummy, yeah.

Like him or not, Russo WAS the reason the Attitude Era was so good.

After he left the company, WWE hasnít been the same. Itís boring, predictable and just lacks that excitement that anything can happen. Russo loves his twists and swerves so he always kept us on our toes, not knowing what to expect while at the same time keeping every wrestler on the roster busy by assigning them their own unique characters and looks.

People always talk about how much the Attitude Era was amazing but then they go and slate Vince Russo. Itís hypocritical.

TNA was also better when Russo was there. Funny enough, everyone complained back then too and now look at the state of the company. 2006-2009 TNA was at least credible. Now itís basically fucking dead. And getting rid of Russo and letting Bischoff and Hogan call the shots and change everything about the company was the start of it.

I'm disappointed about Corey even paying attention to Russo. The idiot doesn't deserve any reply.

ah if Corey Graves wasn't commentating on Raw would anybody know him because I was watching the independent circuit in the 2000's and I didn't have a clue who this clown was when he signed but some how he is a big deal , So Vince Russo who hasn't been on a major wrestling Tv show in what 10-15 years is still more popular than Corey Graves and that's all Russo has to say to own Corey Graves .

The commentary does a poor job of putting the product over, to be honest. They sound like end days WCW Nitro commentary, having a laugh at the expense of the product, and bickering amongst each other.

I know that the product kind of sucks, but these people are paid a lot of money to hype it.

Marvelous
