They should have done this years ago, but I'll admit seeing Jericho win it and KO's short Face of America run were entertaining. So in a way I guess I'm glad they didn't. But now that Corbin's holding it? Yea, unify that shit. Keep the IC title and get rid of the US after the unification match.

It's amazing how much talent this company currently has and they don't have a clue what to do with it. It's really a damn shame.

As for the titles, not only do I think they should keep both championships, but I also think they should add one more for the low card. A belt for guys like Aiden, Crews, Dallas, Hawkins, etc. Maybe call it the Regional Championship or name it something better than that. I've always felt there should be a championship for all tiers. Then the low card would feel more exciting and it would give the jobbers more credibility and a consolation for having to lose so much. Imagine a match with Aiden English defending the jobber belt against curt hawkins, it would be amusing as hell.

BTW, I know the IC is technically more important than the US, but I've always seen them as equal. Same thing with the Universal and World championships. Just my opinion.
This is exactly why I loved the Hardcore Championship back in the Attitude Era. Guys like Al Snow, Big Bossman, Crash Holly, Bob Holly, and so on got some shine because you know they were not going to get any higher on the card. This was also a time when legendary jobbers like Al Snow were more over than most world champs in this era. It was awesome. I still love today's product but it would be great to see all levels of talents getting something relevant and consistent week to week.

Now I'm not sure if the Hardcore Title would work in today's environment but I do agree that something like that or a TV title would work wonders for the current roster. I'm thinking someone like Apollo Crews or the guy in your sig would be a perfect candidate for inaugural TV Champion for sure. Hell, not to get TOO carried away but maybe have Hardcore on SD and TV title on Raw, or vice versa. I'd say most of the low card guys are on Raw anyway so have Crews and Elias fight over the TV title with guys like Dallas, Axel, Slater, Jordan, and Hawkins. Why not give Goldust a good last run with a title belt and have him do regular TV matches showing what he's got? Dude gets better with age.

Hell yea, I'm all for that. Too bad it likely will never happen, but it sure would be cool.

No. But they should unify the WWE & UC titles, both Women's titles and the tag team titles and have the champs appear on both shows without ending the brand split.

I would say no. The roster is big enough for two mid-card men's championships, but the issue they do have is improper booking of it, and having too many championships in general.

No, and while we are at it bring back the European Title for lower mid card/cruisers.

Re: Should WWE unify the US and IC titles when the brand split ends?

They are two different titles, they should not be unified. WWE these days makes titles seem meaningless and stupid, but yeah US title and IC titles have completely different legacies they should not be united.

Re: Should WWE unify the US and IC titles when the brand split ends?

I could see the logic in it, but lets face it. WWE mid-card booking sucks and sucks hard. I mean it sucks like Hoover on steroids. Having 2 mid-card titles at least gives WWE creative and booking something to work with and they need all the help they can get.
