Re: Baron Corbin lost his push because John Cena said that he isn't ready

But I was told here that Cena has no say in what goes on, and that it's all on Vince?

And to the people actually defending this shit - you have Jinder fucking Mahal as your champion - I'm pretty sure anyone can be ready to hold that title now.

Maybe he wasn't ready but he was definitely improving consistently and they could have let him keep the briefcase if they thought he wasn't ready. They had a whole year to let him cash-in.

Re: Baron Corbin lost his push because John Cena said that he isn't ready

Honestly the more of this shit I hear about Cena the more I wonder how many other guys he's said and done the same shit to in the past, it's clear he has Vince completely by the balls and Vince will just agree with everything Johnny boy says.

It annoys me that people are so short sighted on this - yes, it's only Corbin who may or may not have been ready, but the fact that the cat is now out of the bag and that we know HE is the one calling the shots makes me wonder who else he's done this to.

Cena was right. Corbin totally dropped the ball all on his own.

Re: Baron Corbin lost his push because John Cena said that he isn't ready

Vince is the one who decides..

Why has a Corbin loss become such a big deal. When he lost clean to Joe, Aries, balor, Ambrose, zayn, styles, Nakamura, Orton nobody was saying they talked to Vince. When he was left off survivor series match after initially being picked as part of team sd nobody said Shane told Vince he wasn't ready

Corbins got issues, just one look at his twitter confirms that. Until he cops on he won't be pushed past the level of a 50/50 midcarder who loses all the time to upper mid and maineventers on sd

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, the decision for Corbin to lose his cash-in match was made at the last minute. Meltzer noted that Corbin has ďa lot of heatĒ with other wrestlers in addition to Cena. Apparently some of the wrestlers feel that heís been handed opportunities that he hasnít been deserving of.
Hmm, I wonder who that reminds me of...

Re: Baron Corbin lost his push because John Cena said that he isn't ready

Cena was correct here. Unlike Jinder Mahal, who was clearly ready and is now KILLING IT as the champion, Baron Corbin is NOT READY. His promos suck, he's out of shape, and his ringwork is nothing special.

Before Graves was hurt I always thought he and Baron Corbin would have been like Hall and Nash.
