Eventually however, he had to move along with the times and you can actually argue these days that WWE embraces social media a little bit too much. They can never win can they?

Anyhow in regards to the women's division, the #GiveDivasAChance is somewhat overrated in terms of how it influenced the women's revolution. It was certainly a part of bringing about the change that was to come but it's also a good PR move on the WWE part by referencing the popularity of a hashtag in order to show that they are an organization that has their ear to the ground as to what their fans want to see (insert sarcastic comments here). Truth be told what really got the Divas Revolution moving was AJ Lee's caustic and bombastic comment towards Stephanie McMahon about how allegedly the women of the WWE were being treated like second class citizens in comparison with the men. Once AJ Lee challenged the McMahons so publicly they basically had two choices and one of those two choices risked alienating them from a lot of the non profit organizations they court that push strong female empowerment and leadership values. They essentially had no choice but to #GiveDivasAChance after they were called out so publicly by one of their own female employees.

I remember reading an article way back where Nikki Bella took credit for the #GiveDivasAChance movement

I'm really enjoying Alexa right now, cannot believe the main roster success she's had since getting called up. I remember seeing her when she debuted on NXT and thinking that she could never be a heel and thought would be a face for life. How pleasantly wrong was I?!

I'm willing to take that L as well, but hey, even ALEXA didn't know she'd be a great heel and cried during the training for it, so I don't feel too badly about it

I think it was telling how she praised Charlotte, Becky, and Bayley and talked about how they helped her but didn't mention anything about Sasha
