Re: Cruiser weights who should be used outside the division
The top 3 Cruiserweights who I'm confident that they'll succeed on the main roster are Neville, Austin Aries, and Jack Gallagher.
Neville has already competed in the main roster before they revived the Cruiserweight division, and he did pretty well for himself by hanging with the heavier talents. He'd thrive even more now that he's a ruthless heel after undergoing a character change.
Aries is arguably one of the best talents that WWE has in the whole roster. He's great in the ring. He's great on the mic, and he can cut solid promos. He's pretty charismatic, and he's over with the fans. He can play the role as the badass and witty babyface. He can also play the role as the arrogant and condescending heel. With all that being said, i think Aries would be just fine on the main roster. They don't call him the Greatest Man that Ever Lived for nothing.
Gallagher would succeed fairly well on the main roster too. He has a gimmick that stands out tremendously, and he plays his character to perfection with his mannerisms. The guy can talk pretty damn well like a gentleman would. He's able to get the fans invested in him positively. He's also pretty good in the ring as well. I have a feeling that Gallagher might just be used as comic-relief on the main roster since he might play his character a little "too well," but I think he'll be just fine nonetheless if he moved up from the Cruiserweight division.
Other honorable mentions of Cruiserweights that have the potential to do well on the main roster are Rich Swann, Brian Kendrick, and Akira Tozawa.
