Re: They can't all be top stars

WWE's overdose on outside talent is gonna catch up with them sooner or later. Sometimes greed isn't good and quantity doesn't beat out quality. If they're not careful, there will be more signings that end up like Scotty Goldman and Solomon Crowe instead of Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins.

Not a conspiracy theory Vito
The WWE can try buy up all the competition, sign all the top independent stars, pressure the indies but in the end the fans want variety as the WWE alone cannot give the fans what they want and Indies will keep on producing new stars.
The point I am making is when the WWE is full of top stars and all the Indie top stars someone has to be the midcard and bottom card which will piss off a load of those signed thinking they had made it.
But by the time they leave how badly damaged will they be or buried so much that they will be not even good enough for indy top spots.

The WWE are not producing anyone of their own worthy from their developmental.

Re: They can't all be top stars

Thank You for saying this. People gotta realize that not every wrestler that's good elsewhere in the buisness is not always gonna be pushed to the main event in WWE.
I mean Look at Austin Aries. Maybe a bad example because he is in the main even for 205 live but you see he's not on either of the main shows. What do you think they're gonna do with people like Adam Cole and Kenny Omega? WWE seems to have their people that they're gonna roll with and that's not gonna change.

Re: They can't all be top stars

Of course, not everyone can be main eventers. That's just silly.

But, Cesaro Bray Wyatt Dean Ambrose The Miz Drew McIntyre Neville Jack Gallagher Samoa Joe Rusev Kofi Kingston Big E Cien Almas Bobby Roode and Cody Rhodes can!

If the hardys turn up and Cole and Omega follow there is no way that no way Jose, Roderick Strong, big Damo, Eric Young and countless other recently acquired indie talent will be anything more than the new brooklyn brawlers.

By the time their contracts are up the indies might not want them as they will have made their own stars yet again, and that is the problem the WWE cannot do anything about.
They can try murder the Indies but fans will always want variety and I can understand the wrestlers going to the WWE for the money and security but in the long run a lot of them will regret it as only a fraction will make it.

Re: They can't all be top stars

The thing about it is mid-card doesn't have to equal jobber stuck in random matches or stupid angles. Back in the day some of the better feuds and angles were basically mid-card angles.

This could give the WWE the most talented mid-card they've had in years. IF they have sense enough to make the most of it remains to be seen.

just as well as Bray is midcard and heading headlong into the jobber ranks.

Only elsworth and tyler breeze are below him soon
