"They wrestled all over the world!"

I'am so fucking tired of this phrase being used with every single indie wrestler that comes in, and they even used that phrase for Mickie James last night at EC "After she left the E she went and wrestled all over the world David" Can someone tell me why it would be so bad if they mentioned TNA, ROH etc?

Only in WWE can you not acknowledge any other company out there, in WWE's world they want their audience to believe they're the only company there is.

I mean why would it be so bad for them to acknowledge those companies and talk about the wrestlers accomplishments there? Its not like it would cause a spike in any of their ratings cause they was mentioned by the announcers in WWE. Even if it did get them ratings, why does it matter? Its not like any of them are on at the same time any of WWE's shows are, none of them are competing with WWE.

Re: "They wrestled all over the world!"

They have talked about NJPW before. I am pretty sure Ring of Honor has been acknowledged in some capacity before.

The reason TNA is ignored is probably because they tried to compete with Raw on Monday nights, and Vince ironically hates that even though he drove a lot of territories out of business with those tactics....and there is other things like Ric Flair going to wrestle in TNA after he "retired" in WWe, and a lot of wrestlers have gone to TNA and publicly talked shit about the WWe and Vince....and they still do it to this day.

I think the higher ups in WWe genuinely probably hate TNA.

Re: "They wrestled all over the world!"

Actually, "around the world" means TNA specifically. The only companies I know of that I haven't heard them mention are TNA, CZW and What Culture. They talk about New Japan and ROH all the time, they've mentioned Dragon Gate, Evolve, PWG, etc.

Why they refuse to mention TNA at this point is comedy. Maybe Vince is salty because he couldn't buy the library, so TNA is still banned. I agree though, I'm tired of hearing it. Just mention the fucking name, we all know and no, we're not going to quit your product for theirs if you do.

There is no reason to be specific. I think as a fan I know what they mean. It is 2017 if fans don't know they can always find out with the click of a button, or two.

Re: "They wrestled all over the world!"

Mickie even wrestled in NXT in November which they see as a "third brand"

But they've mentioned NJPW several times and ROH on their website before and maybe on TV. Hell, JOHN CENA even mentioned PWG on TV.

Its true they have acknowledged ROH before in documentaries and maybe on their site, but why didn't they bring it up when Joe debuted on Raw? They used the typical line "He wrestled all over the world" why not say he held the ROH world title for over a year? and say he was the corner stone of that company?

Its true TNA is almost never mentioned but a few of the others have been mentioned very briefly over the years, but they're still not allowed to just bring them up, in certain situations they'll let their name be said. But its more than just TNA, they use that phrase to describe nearly every indie wrestler who comes through the door.

And they mention New Japan alot because its almost like they're just talking about the country they're from, it would be the same as if they said "he wrestled in Canada and was a big player there" they never actually say New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Re: "They wrestled all over the world!"

I'm the same man.
It's all these indie darlings have.

What's your gimmick?? "eeehhh, I wrestled all over the world
Why should I care about you? "hhhhmmmmm.....I wrestled all over the world...?"
Why should I pay money to see you? " ...................Dude......I wrestled all over the world!! "

WHO GIVES A FUCK!!!! It's not relevant!!!
Never mind mentioning other companies, WWE just need to stop this shit full stop. Travelling is not enough for a gimmick for a wrestler. WWE are so fucking lazy. But the smarks/Japan retards have allowed them to be.

Sign him up!

Re: "They wrestled all over the world!"

It is true TNA is the company that shall not be named, while its fine for others to occasionally be brought up. I really don't why WWE is so god damn petty over TNA, that company is never gonna be competition for them, it only comes on thursday nights on a channel alot of people don't even get.

And as i said even if it did get TNA some viewers from them mentioning them, who the fuck cares? If its not on Monday's at 8 or Tuesday's 8 or even Wednesday's at 8 why does it matter? They're programming isn't on at any time anything of yours is on.

Does TNA even do overseas tours? Like All around the world doesn't just mean US and canada. There is Europe, Asia, South America, etc... I think only a few wrestlers actually wrestled all around the world like Bryan, Styles, Cesaro, Hero, and Punk.
