Sasha Banks Interview on Mark Madden's 'Super Genius' show, doesn't come off well at all

So basically she considers herself 'one of the greatest of all time'.

Dear god, its stupid interviews like this which will turn people legitimately against her.

Breaking new ground for women:

Quote:
"Right now this whole women's evolution has just taken over, Charlotte and I have legit made history, from Hell in a Cell to main eventing a Raw PPV to main eventing Raw three times in a row. It's absolutely insane...This is it, the end of the line for Charlotte and I, there's no rematch clause, whoever wins is going to go down as the greatest women's wrestler, I think, of all-time."
Fans now being more critical of women's matches:

Quote:
I feel that we're equal, soon, we're not going to be like, 'Hey, that was a great women's match' it's gonna be, 'That's a great match,' period. We are just as equal as the men, as you can see, every single week, we're main eventing, just like the guys."
Mark Madden then told a story when he was a WCW Commentator and worked with Eddie Guerrero. Mark said he talked with Eddie about his tag team partner, Art Barr (Los Gringos Locos) and one night Eddie wore a Los Gringos Locos shirt to the ring, threw it to Mark, and pounded his heart. Mark had always kept the shirt and wanted to give it to Sasha Banks. Here was Sasha's response, while keeping her emotions in check on-air:

Quote:
"Oh my God! Yes. Wow. I'm not going to cry on-air, but oh, wow. That means absolutely everything to me, thank you so much. Oh my gosh..."

Banks also talked about the "Four Horsewomen", physicality of matches, and the "Diva" era.

Sky high and six thousand miles away,
Don't know how long I've been awake,
Wound up in an amazing state,
Can't get enough,
And you know it's righteous stuff,
Goes up like prices at Christmas,
Motorhead, remember me now Motorhead!

So she cries and panders after every title win but not after getting the shirt and the story when she supposedly loved Eddie and dedicated a win to him (creepy).

re: Sasha Banks Interview on Mark Madden's 'Super Genius' show

What a misleading title. She said "I don't want to cry on air" because of the Los Gringos Locos shirt worn by Eddie, and what a nice gesture that was from Madden. She's also obviously kayfabing when saying "whoever wins" will go down as the greatest ever.

29 pages later, none of this will matter, but still.

Who cares? It's Sasha she says strangely stupid things and gets emotional it's not news. She's hot, talented and young who knows history may actually vindicate her.

If only Victoria was given half the spotlight Sasha has..cause she was better in every aspect.

It's easy to be "the best" when you're the first getting these opportunities.

I don't like misleading thread titles. Changed the thread title. Let's not bait here.

I'm not watching the interview but if someone can tell us that she cried, then we can change it back.

Sasha couldn't hang with any of the women in Japan.

Nope.

Aside from Asuka, none of the women in the WWE are at that level.
