Re: RAW for the Past Few Weeks has been far better than Smackdown...

Don't mind SD only having three matches. I have never prioritized four star rasslin' over characters and story and I personally long for the days when the free tv show consisted primarily of building said stories and the four star work rate clinics were saved for PPV. There's no reason to have guys and girls consistently working 15 - 25 minutes wrestling matches weekly. It dilutes the significance of the PPV and ups the risk of injury. Worry about popping and appealing to the IWC at the PPV.

If you're going to fill time with pointless wrestling matches with no stakes on TV, do what WCW did and either introduce a TV title to up those stakes or actually utilize your fucking CW division aka your work horses. The less matches the big names work on free television, the more it helps their matches feel significant when they eventually do. Cesaro vs Sheamus was a fucking nightmare and I'd much prefer SD's format over pushing work rate to pop middle aged males.

The feuds on SmackDown have also been going on for a long time. This isn't Charlotte vs Sasha exclusive.

Kalisto vs Corbin since August 2
Carmella vs Nikki since August 11
Miz vs Ziggler since August 30
Aj vs Dean since September 13
Becky vs Alexa since September 13

I hope they finish on TLC.

SDL overall still seems watchable and can get better. Seems like people are getting a little more into MNR which is good. Both shows having interest is good for the brand split and can actually create a rivalry between both brands.

Re: RAW for the Past Few Weeks has been far better than Smackdown...

Eh, the problem with Smackdown is at first it was better post-draft because despite having a less stacked roster the storylines were better, now, pretty much ALL the storylines have ran their course (other then the Bray Wyatt/Orton storyline) and the shallowness of Smackdowns roster is more transparent due to the lack of good current storylines. Also love him or hate him but Cenas absence from the show hurts it quite a bit, the only current main eventers on Smackdown are Ambrose and AJ, Orton is main event level but he's currently in a mid card storyline which doesn't really help. The Revival should be called up and they should be going after the SD tag team championships, also call up Samoa Joe and trade Sami Zayn to SD already.

Well take a look at the two top feuds. Ziggler vs Miz heat dwindled down a lot. Miz and Ziggler lost a lot of momentum. Ambrose vs Styles is now about a jobber. Two intense feuds lost a lot of momentum.
