Today's roster sucks and it's got nothing to do with the Attitude Era.

I don't think so, but if they turned this into an angle then this is the perfect way to start it off.

No doubt Austin and Rock will be talked about for another 20 years, but they wont be talked about as much as they are right now. Because kids who watch the show right now, will take over these forums tomorrow and they werent exposed to Austin/Rock, but rather Cena/Orton. They will say Austin did that, but maybe more Cena did this. Maybe in the slight 0.000001% chance WWE finally does stop micromanaging talent, in 20 years time, we might be hearing about Ambrose or Reigns as well.
WWE will not be around in 20 years. It will be acquired by Disney within the next six years, who will plan on using it but grow cold feet due to building concussion claims. They in turn will sell it to a Chinese company that will fold it into a MMA promotion. In gen years WWE will live on only on YouTube and other services streaming historical archives.

That is also a possibiltiy. WWE might not even be here 30 years from now. McMahon is dead, HHH and Stephanie will have to live off their father.

"Meaningless, huh?! What do you know of meaningless?!

Spend most of your life ruled by another...watch your race dwindle to a handful...and then, tell me what has more meaning than your own strength.

I have in me the blood of a Saiyan Prince, he is nothing but a joke. Yet I've had to watch him surpass me in strength, my destiny, thrown to the wayside!

He's...he's even saved my life as if I were a helpless child. He has stolen my honor...and his debts...must be paid!"

It'll most likely be remembered in the same way the new generation is. A dead period with some great in ring workers in it.

Pretty much spot on. Wrestling by its very nature is supposed to be violent. In the 1990s, before all the PC crap, the hyper feminism, the ultra sensitivity, and the internet turning everything into a story for controversy, wrestling was free to be what it needed to be, violent, bloody, sexualized, cussing, and gritty. Wrestling was free to be congruent with its inherent ethos. Now, wrestling isn't free to be what it is supposed to be, and it's like pushing a square peg through a round hole. It never seems right, and it's always a bit off. We will never see wrestling as fun and good as it was in the AE again, because the sensitivity of society today won't ever let wrestling be what it' supposed to be again.

Exactly. I don't see them being remembered like Rock, Austin, Undertaker are.

No, the Attitude Era just set hardcore fans desire for mainstream approval too high.

Sort of like how fans who grew up during the New Generation Era don't look at HBK and Bret as failures because thats what they grew up on.
