Re: Does WWE ignore Lucha Underground?

They've already tried to poach talent, even Melissa Santos the ring announcer. So while they may not mention them on TV, they most definitely do not ignore they exist. I was proud of Melissa for telling them to piss off.

One could argue they took this year's rumble idea from LU.... and obviously they're interested in talent. But why should they mention them? It's not like LU ever directly mentioned WWE. Does Coca Cola talk about Pepsi?

they do sometimes, but in the sense of talking about the history of the wrestlers, they even talked about roh, nj, wcw, and ecw, but always in a respectable way. Well once last yr vampiro took a shot at wwe about something he was involved in, but i think a wwe wreatler had tweeted something rude earlier in the week about LU

Re: Does WWE ignore Lucha Underground?

They've never acknowledged LU because they've never needed to. If there comes a time when a former LU performer is signed to WWE, It's more likely that we'll get a general statement about how he/she came from the indies or "major organizations in Mexico" rather than a direct Lucha Underground namedrop.
