Re: Rock V HBK

Rock didn't need HBK, HBK needed The Rock. And after how HBK and the clique treated The Rock, good for him for not giving him that. And good for the Rock for becoming the greatest superstar of the Attitude Era and making it into film with HHH going over him all the time.
PepeSilvia and 3ku1 like this.

Oh yeah Rock was HHH bitch in the AE . So amazing her overcame all that. I do remember Rock saying he had alot of respect for Taker. Taker said to Dwayne at one point im jobbing to you. And Rock said one day I well reply in kind. I don't think that kinda respect was their with HBK and Trips some how haha.

And then...after years of sobering up, his back is suddenly completely fine? Dude wrestled for years after his comeback. His knees seemed more banged up than his supposed compromised back.
The injury was real but the only thing that prevented him from coming back sooner was his own personal demons.

Parking $10, Program $5, ticket $35, watching Bret Hart wrestle.......PRICELESS!!!

Be a man Rock forgive and forget and all that. If Bret can forgive Vince & Shawn for the Montreal Screwjob then surely Rock can forgive Shawn for whatever petty shit he did. Rock isn't as great as people make him out to be.
You're overreacting. Whatever issues the Rock had with Shawn, he never aired them out publicly and always gave Shawn his respect as an in ring performer. It's funny how you call out the Rock on being a man by forgiving and forget but you conveniently left out the part that involves Shawn apologizing to the Rock for his bad behavior towards him (allegedly disrespecting the Rock's grandmother, allegedly derailing the Rock's momentum via politics and spitting on the Rock during a segment on television).

Stone Cold Steve Austin wasn't interested in working with Hulk Hogan and no one called him a douche because of it and if they did it would be just as ludicrous. Nobody said the Rock was a saint, hell even he hasn't said that about himself. But when it comes to professionalism, the Rock's got Shawn beat. It could be a simple case where the Rock just didn't trust working with a guy who let's be honest was very difficult to work with. It's unfortunate because I would've loved seeing two of my all time favorite wrestlers work a match together but it is what it is.
