Re: Who else thinks Dean Ambrose is the best thing going?

When at his best, like earlier this year, Dean Ambrose can be one of the best on the roster but when he's stuck in mid card feuds like he is now he seems to just really tone it down, he needs to be a heel or start becoming more of a tweener like Reigns

This.

He peaked a couple years back and they never took advantage. Regardless of what HHH claims, they may not write concrete storylines for these guys but they certainly have their spots on the roster set in stone and a glass ceiling positioned above them -- it just depends on how they view you that decides how high that ceiling may be. They didn't run with Dean when he was the hottest face in the business because they didn't have that spot reserved for him. It didn't matter how over he got, their plans weren't for him so they gave him goofy skits with mannequins to cool him off and eventually wrote him off television completely to film some straight to DVD film that SyFy won't even pick up (and they run Sharknado marathons )

Sad thing about the Austin comparison is that if Steve and Bret gave the exact same match today, there is no way Vince runs with Austin's momentum. He was forced to run with Steve then and had to be dragged into the Attitude Era kicking and screaming. No chance he pushes Austin today because Steve isn't a heart throb, he was just some skinny fat, bald, beer guzzling redneck from Texas in bland, black wrestling trunks and cumbersome knee braces.

No way a guy like that would ever draw or be marketable!!

Steve would have been cooled off and kept jobbing in the mid card. This directly coincides with how sterile the current product feels. Who you cheer doesn't matter. There's nothing organic about it anymore. Vince pushes who HE wants because he doesn't have to weigh the audiences demand because Goldberg, Sting, and the NWO aren't two clicks of the remote away. This has been drilled into fans' heads and they're finally throwing in the towel and choosing to walk away from the product altogether.

I mean I just cant believe that people genuinely enjoy his comedy, its seriously that bad I just dont blieve that anyone actually enjoys it.
What they've done with him since his feud with Seth is so bad. Maybe they think they need someone in that role, but if he keeps being used like this it's hard for me to fathom how they'll ever have Seth/Roman/Dean interacting on the same level again.

One of the worst. Everything he does is painful, his promos and facial expressions, I just change the channel when he's on.

He's nothing special in the ring either, average at best
